š well… shit
ksfast, I’m not callin’ you out. I was just hoping for these reviews before the actual release…which is what we had in Gregor’s video. I just needed more than one source. Sub MOA sounds fucking nice to me!
Jman, check ebay, they still have them listed for sale.
$70ish USD shipped from UK.
Also the one piece mount

I have shot mine at 100yds indoors, but not in the machine rest with hydraulic trigger actuator like I did with the K1, JSB 25.39 visually inspected, but not roll, weight or gauge sorted, 32x magnification with fine reticle mine shoots sub MOA. No Iām not going to post pix, it would be meaninglessā¦I donāt have a dog in this fight. Just sharing my experience with the āPriestā I have.
Biz I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news but when I called AOA I was told they will no longer stock the 2 piece rings from Eaglevision. They still have the one piece mount but I was pretty bummed out about that. The fella I spoke with told me he wasn’t aware of anyone importing those rings anymore. They looked much beefier than the FX option but I am not dissatisfied with the No Limit mounts on first look. I just have my doubts about how tight the lock up is for the height adjustment screw. Time will tell.
JMAN proving himself the man. High-res pics, please. That’s a whole other thing I was waiting on, what rings for my scope. It was between the FX no limits or Eaglevisioncam’s offerings. I as well only have a SCUBA tank 3,000 psi and Hill pump MK4 and wanted to see how important an SCBA would be to me in the near future.
I’ll have mine on Tuesday. That weekend I’ll have time to have some testing and targets out to 100 yards with pictures and some impressions. I can tell you that right now I have 9 tins of JSB Kings and 3 tins of Polymags that I don’t intend to be conservative with, a Fatboy from Donny with an endcap cut to the rather odd M14x1 threads, FX no limit mounts, an Athlon Talos 4-14 FFP scope, and of course a chrony. I am certain that I’ll be wishing that I didn’t sell my old 90cu in tank but it just wasn’t cutting it so I’ll be hand pumping to refill it. Doubt I will go over the 250bar line. I have an idea about testing the regulator with my hand pump since it has a remote line hook up and I don’t have any way to appropriately test the reg output. Hopefully it is in fact 150bar and not 125. Later I’ll see how far out I think I can reach out with this gun hence the no limit mounts.. I dont have a bipod that I want to mount on this yet so I am going to do the best I can bagging this so the gun can show what it is made of and take me out of the equation as much as possible.
If anyone has any questions in particular I will try to address them. I do intend on starting a new thread for all of this so stick around and see if that give you what you want to know.
I know reviews and opinions take time to formulate and not everyone has the intent to do a review at all but feedback seems sort of lackluster at the moment. I’m thinking positive reviews will be inbound soon and perhaps I’ll kick myself for giving in so quickly after having waited seemingly forever for its release. By all means I will be coming looking for updates every day so please, all, keep the opinions rolling in.
Mines at the house…. I’m at work… bah. More later on initial thoughts, etc.
G-damn it. I just requested a refund on my deposit. Absolutely zero reviews on this puppy besides ksfast’s. Perhaps I’ll still get one but wait out the next shipment. Perhaps not. In the meanwhile, time to step up my research on other brands.
Haven’t removed the butt plate yet, watching some football lol, but I will start looking into the cocking system in just a bit.
It’s not a Colibri, but it’s a lot less money and you can get it in .177 and .25.
It’s the RTI reg piston that causes the whistling/gurgling noise, I put a Ninja piston in and the reg noise is gone. The cocking effort is not getting any better, maybe getting worse. Yes, I like the gun and would buy another.
Ksfastman, Sorry to blast you with questions but if you don’t mind I have a few for you.
I also have one in .25 coming my way.
I noticed with the CF setup you have a separate regulator. Does the reg on the CF bottle also squeal?
Did you test the aluminum bottle before you changed it out?
Did you check behind the backplate for the weight that goes with the .25?
Maybe we should transistion this thread to a new one about performance and specifics since a few are getting into our hands now.
Thanks in advance for sharing with us.
No remote line, the CF bottle did help with the balance, it is still slightly forward heavy. The pellet doesn’t just drop in, like a Mrod mag…you have to push it in till the skirt clears the back plate of the mag before it can be rotated to the next empty hole, not that big of a deal, just kind of annoying. The reg whistling is very pronounced, it starts as a whistle than transitions to a gurgle as the pressure returns to the set point.

I’m sure the FX no limits will be every bit as good. I like that Eaglevisioncam has the side-screwing bubble level, although it would be a pain to have to unscrew it to transport the rifle in a case or possibly have it get caught up when you trek through the woods.
