Just a pic of the Tactical Utilitran Rifle Design striaght from the Voleworks design dept. This is what ive come up with …. 😕
Its .177 , 15 round mag , collapsible stock , AR grip , pump action , shrouded , 70 shot regulated and at 70cm long.
I wanted to design a gun for the guys who do ” Ratting ” as its known over here ,so its a small take down type gun to shoot rats in barns. If i get the drawings finished in the next couple of weeks the first prototype should start soon arfter on my mates new CNC machining centers .
Ive been drawing on Auto CAD for weeks , and im now experiencing the joys of learning 3D CAD ( for this and my CNC mill).
So i thought id see what you guys like / dislike because its not going to be for sale in the USA …hehe !. 😀

Thaught the sight was weaver.
If not i may have the adaptor in the garage.
Could you not machine the sight to fit the rail ?

For your next gun consider using the Crosman Maurader Magazine. They are only $13 and work like the Rapid Magazine and people even use them in their Rapids.

Im trying to find a weaver to dove tail adaptor for the sights , making one is looking abit tricky and they cant cost too much. Been working on the finish design of the forend with the tatical grip ive got but the sheds too dam cold and ive just got my use of my left hand after my operation so i should start soon. Ive got no heating unlike you Sean and rapping my fingers in the cold is one painfull experience.
Dont think this would ever go into the market place , its got too many parts , too fiddly and time consuming to make ! ….. it just looks cool 😀
Only since making it ( which is the real test ) have i seen what an ill conceived design and delusional idea of marketing the dam gun …. at the end of the day its too fussy and tooo complex 🙄 . It would cost way too much and im talking in the same price bracket as the top end AA,s and The Oben , who the hells going to pay that for this . I wouldnt 😯
I should of stayed with my original design of sprung mag and bolt action ,been a lot more easier to make. If your guy is looking for a design Sean then send him my way ( he must be a gluten for punishment 😯 ) , ive got something much more promising . Building it is one thing …. marketing is another thing all together , in a very saturated market.

Yeh Sergiuss its another Russian rip off 😆 which i posted earlier but no one made it as far as i know. Its not a copy of Victors 620 as such but more from the post by FBM on Talks.ru about a LDC for the T4.

As far as sights i was thinking of a multi Reticle Holographic dot sight rather than open sights but with them costing £20 i might half buy a mini scope for £40 and get more flexability. If i had somewhere to go ratting then id go for the dot sight 🙁 . So just the pump foregrip to complete but this is going to be some time off as im about to have a operation on my hand and il be out of action for about a month i would think . Ive got a test front grip that needs more work but with only 4 days to go im going to run out of time ….. so dont hurrie back for an update 😀 .

Is the ball sealing the reg once the working pressure is reached? The disc-springs dont seem to be ventilated, couldnt that be a problem? I want to build a reg myself, so I am looking at all sorts of different regs at the moment. How did you calculate the volume? 1/5th of the “dead volume” in barrel and transfer port? Did you just juse a working design, if so, which? Im kinda stuck at the moment since I have no idea where to start off. Theres just so many things to consider. So many questions… PLEASE help me! 😀
