vulcan or wildcat ?
I have been saving for a while and i am getting close to the money i need for new gun, I have an Armada 22cal and after several mods and new barrel it shoots a little smaller than 1/2 groups at 55 yards with a 30 shot string 1005 to 985 fps on crony with JSB 14.35gr and 960 to 876 30 shot string with JSB18.13gr and with same 1/2 groups , I got this gun for a good price new in box and was overcome by the looks , ( matched my AR ) but as the saying goes judging a book by it’s cover, over all i like it but i want something with a little more range and lighter , this thing is heavy and to off hand shoot not good, My choices are down to two guns , The wildcat 25 or the vulcan 25, Please help i can only buy one more gun and it has taken me a long time to save this much for one . Yep. I actually aimed at the chest and there was almost no wind. A .22 cal pellet isn’t the best choice for such activity beyond 85m if there’s any wind and one wants to hit the POA.

Neither have i. The longest Crow shot i’ve taken was 117 meters. Hit it in the chest and it came down like a wet sock.

I have a Gen. 1 Vulcan and I have no problems taking down game at 50 yds.

Doable once is different from doable every second or third group. On last Dutch 100M scoreboard there were actually several FXs, all .30 Bosses. Best scored number 5 after BSAs and Drummens.
It IS doable, of course , with a .25 cal – and with a very good .22 as well- but , as said , indoors/dead calm and with an excellent shooter. Now : Those parameters only happen in 1 case of maybe 500. Feel lucky ??

Actually I have a nagging suspicion that it might be doable on regular basis with King Heavies and indoors. Takes a highly tuned gun with excellent shooter but we have seen 9.5mm groups already so why not.
