Q:

vulcan or wildcat ?

I have been saving for a while and i am getting close to the money i need for new gun, I have an Armada 22cal and after several mods and new barrel it shoots a little smaller than 1/2 groups at 55 yards with a 30 shot string 1005 to 985 fps on crony with JSB 14.35gr and 960 to 876 30 shot string with JSB18.13gr and with same 1/2 groups , I got this gun for a good price new in box and was overcome by the looks , ( matched my AR ) but as the saying goes judging a book by it’s cover, over all i like it but i want something with a little more range and lighter , this thing is heavy and to off hand shoot not good, My choices are down to two guns , The wildcat 25 or the vulcan 25, Please help i can only buy one more gun and it has taken me a long time to save this much for one . Thanks Olbluecat

Guys guys, he is talking about the .25, surely the WC is easier to shoot because of how long it is? The Vulcan is much shorter making it harder to deal with recoil and such. More skill is required with the .25 volcano.

Olb , all I can say is maybe your friends’ Vulcan isn’t up to par for what ever reasons maybe , the gun itself or maybe the scope
or scope mounts may not be aligned as they should be . I do not know what Vulcan Gen. your friend has , my First Gen. .25 Vulcan
was shooting out of the box what it was meant to do . I was able to shoot out to 193 yards and hit what I was shooting at . You may
have jumped to a decision that just because your friend has both guns and one shot better than the other which in your position
normally no one would think otherwise , you should really look for more info from all of those who own and shoot the Vulcan in
what ever caliber they have before making a decision that you may regret later on . All I’am saying is buy what you want , but make
sure that you have given yourself the full proof in your decision .

And how could the WC shoot better than the Vulcan ?? Never seen one that did and this God forsaken country is littered with FX’s.

Who is Jay?

Well i took a drive today and had a chance to look and shoot a wildcat and a Vulcan at 50 and 100 yards , I did much better with the wildcat with 8 shots at 50 that i could cover with a nickle and 8 shots at 100 that could cover mostly with 50 cent piece, the wildcat felt better and so much smoother cocking, The Vulcan was not smooth at all to cock kind of had to snatch it hard , and i just could not get the groups i got with the wildcat, i shot JSB kings out both, I am getting the WC, Thanks jay for letting me come to your place and let me shoot your guns you have quite an impressive collection , that colt peacemaker and the family history behind it was too cool,

It’s actually a great choice for a .25 due its great air capacity.
A friend has one and it’s a good shooter in full power.

quote Sir Ville:

My vote goes, without a doubt, for the Vulcan between those two. However : The Impact in 25 would be a good choice as well.

How do you find the Impact Ville? I would like a .25 at some point and the Impact is on my list. Won’t buy anything this year though, Winter is coming…
