Vulcan shooting down 110 fps
Put the Vulcan over the Crony this weekend the velocity was a 110 fps slower then the first time I Crony’d it which was verified by Talon Tunes with 18.1 JSB. Spoke with Greg first who gave me some idea’s I did everything but check the barrel placement which Evgeny asked me to check today. And it’s not that, the grub screw is lined up with the indent in the barrel. I also did a physical inspection of the Breech O’ring which is in place and then I checked the transfer port with a kleenx for a possible leak of that O’ring. All looks good. Called Talon Tunes left message no call back. Any idea’s please leave me some feed back. I messed with the HST nothing there either.

He’s not trying to ignore established networks. None of the dealers ordered extra parts. What do you want Evngey to do. Come here on TAG and chat it up with you? I know for a fact extra parts are available for order all a dealer has to do is order them. Go look at Sniperqty videos of all the extra parts for the Vulcan in his possession.
I used to work for a fine gun dealer part time. (It was bad for me because I spent more than I made buying guns like a fat person working at Dunkin donuts). The first thing the dealer did was order extra parts for any new gun we sold. If parts weren’t available for immediate delivery he would make sure someone like Midwest gunworks or Beretta USA had the parts in stock.
We’re fortunate over here being able to just send a gun to Evgeny for immediate attention if needed.

That’s all understandable and we are willing go the extra mile to support good products.
BUT, Evgeny needs to let loose the apron strings and support our networks.
We are very patient and and don’t talk up minor problems but we will if quality drops below our toleration level.
Many here welcome the challenge to fix the “twang”, etc.
I suspect that Evgeny has more problems due to increased production. That’s to be expected but we hope he doesn’t lower his standards to make up for an expanded service network.
We are obviously willing to help but cooperation is a two way process.
I think Evgeny should get with known service technicians and organizations over here instead of trying to bypass or ignore our established networks.
Seriously, if he wants to here directly from customers, he won’t be able to handle the thousands of additional contacts.
I actually know that Evgeny doesn’t encourage people/dealers fuxing with these guns. Didn’t think of that earlier but that what he always preaches.

A number of us are happy with good shooting guns and realize new products may have bugs that will sooner or later be solved. TAG members have a reputation of working together to solve many airgun issues and are patiently looking for a solution to the annoying twang. Ernest said he solved the problem but I am waiting on confirmation from Zonk or others. I hope that any needed parts are forthcoming from the manufacturer. These are expensive airguns and great new technology that deserve support from both the manufacturer and dealers. TT gave us a favorable price and we have counted on Tony for backup parts, service, and repairs on other products. Many of us are used to doing our own updates and repairs but for us to continue to support a manufacturer we need to know that we can get parts and/or repairs through the dealers we have learned to rely on. It may take some time and thought for Evgeny and Tony to work out a reasonable dealer support solution including parts and necessary information. Our group could save then some labor expense and continue supporting the continued success of a great product. I know I will buy at least one more bullpup in the near future but my choices hinge on how the nuisance twang problem is handled as well as warranty repairs. When I show off my new .22 Vulcan the twang degrades much of the greatness of the product.
I am very patient but can’t justify spending this much money again until service and parts issues are worked out between TT and Evgeny.
Also, there is a minor issue of the safety not able to be set on a number of ‘out of the box’ Vulcans. Several I know of, including mine did not function as specified in the manual on pages 14 and 24. Not to hard to adjust but the factory quality control needs to add it to the inspection list.
The Vulcan is generally great shooting and fun to do minor adjustments to.
I have only really spoken to Earnest in depth about the Mutant Baby he has a bunch of work on his table now. I have dialogue going with Evgeny on the Vulcan. Hope the spring fixes things. If not I will go further into taring the gun down. I like the hands on but time has not been on my side this summer.Wifes birthday tomorrow she celebrates all month like a celebrity. If I can’t solve this issue Tony told me to contact him.
Sorry Oak I didn’t know you have two new guns down. That must be the craps. I have a question. If the gun is under warranty and dealer pays shipping to Ernest in this case who pays Ernest to fix the gun. Is Ernest seen as a official repair Depot for the Vulcan. I’m wondering how it’s looked at from factory point of view

First I just want to clear the air here because it seems that some things have snow balled out of control. I asked Tony from Talon Tunes to shoot my Vulcan prior to shipping it too me. I actually had a very long conversation with him before buying the gun, there were things I was concerned about that many on here know because I got tossed off the Yellow Forum for asking these questions. I actually told Tony to tune my Vulcan if it was too hot or too loud but he told me he didn’t have too do anything. Like Ville always says you don’t have to do a thing to these guns they are shooters out of the box. My Vulcan shot flawlessly for a few months before I started having any issues. Most folks are very happy with their Vulcans and I don’t want to dicourage anyone from buying one they are awesome guns. I love my Vulcan and I don’t want to ship it to Florida to be fixed or looked at! I live in NY and I don’t want to ship it to Earnest in NJ either if I don’t have too. I actually told Earnest I would drive over from work in Brooklyn with my Baby Mutant for him to look at while I was there. I would rather try and repair my guns myself this is why I contacted Evgeny first. I know Zonk had issues as well. I don’t know what was exactly communicated between Zonk and Tony I was not in that conversation. However I know that Zonk had Earnest tune his gun to his liking, do his trigger as well and repair the issue he was having. I also know Tony paid Zonks shipping for the gun. I did call Tony and told him I was having issues and he did respond to me he said if I needed anything let him know. So happens I had contacted Evgeny before I even called Tony because my Cousin Ville the go too guy recommended for me to contact Evgeny. I am clearly upset I have two guns down. These are new guns however I also have the opportunity to own two guns that are of the highest in airgun technology made by small companies that are innovating what we all love. I am one of the few guys that is having any issue I am sure it will be cleared up with both guns soon enough. And again Tony has contacted me and asked how things were going. I told him I was waiting on my main spring from Evgeny. He told me to contact him if I needed anything. So happens I bypassed the dealer and went straight to the manufacturer because I want things yesterday :angrymob: .
Yes I will.
Thanks, Tony
Tony
Just curious…my Vulcan has been performing flawlessly so far and I never screw with it. However, if we purchased from you and a problem develops, do you handle the repairs warrantee or otherwise?
Thanks
Just to clear some things up…
I was asked by Evgeny not go into any Vulcans. That they were all test fired at the factory.
But me putting my name on these Vulcans and TT reputation on the line felt it was my duty to inspect,
test fire and record my own velocity strings and accuracy tests.
Tony
You guys have some strange problems with your Vulcans. I know one thing for a fact : In Europe those are delivered with a 7.5 J spring, and a spacer.
The reg is set perfectly and a full power spring is included.
Just change the spring , screw the HS to where the speed stops ( at around 285 mps ) and no problems whatsoever.
What about the above procedure is so complicated ??
Maybe it would be better if no one Fuxes with them vefore the delivery ? I’m not an expert but there’s something wrong in the delivery chain somewhere. Or am i too drunk to understand ??
He’ll probably throw your ass out way before them……Just saying.
WTF???? I couldn’t……Evgeny must have had a chat with Tony like he said he would…..
who knows what transpired between Mr Tunes and the Czech Republic if there was any communication but I am not sending this gun back to Tony. Earnest via Tony I will do that and I will drive it over to the BP Tuner in Pigeon Ville NJ. Earnest can teach me his Stealth Pigeon taking techniques while I wait and watch the magic he does on guns. I will sit down with the Family and eat some down home Filipino Food. Then by then Earnest will have kicked me out on my ass sending back to NY with all the rest of the big mouths.

I cannot understand when it is said that ‘Evgeny doesn’t encourage people/dealers fuxing with these guns. Didn’t think of that earlier but that what he always preaches.’
If that is the case then it is understandable that no dealers ordered parts. Why would a dealer take all the responsibility for warranty parts and labor? There needs to be trust and technical communications.
Why would a dealer order and pay for parts to be given away during warranty and still have to absorb the labor cost while not getting any technical updates from the manufacturer?
It is much more cost effective for a manufacturer to ship a crate of product 1/3 of the way around the world and only have to be concerned with one delivery rather than 25, 50, or 100 boxes being safely packaged, properly addressed and tracked. And subsequently a few replaced at great cost due to loss.
On the other hand if Evgeny has the extra time and help and can somehow eliminate the loss of sales due to many delays maybe he doesn’t need any of u.s. either dealers or airgun savvy customers.
If a man doesn’t learn to delegate some of his authority and responsibility he will have the weight of the whole world on his back.
My advice to Evgeny would be to lighten his load before a new product grabs the market.
