A friend makes 3-4 work related trips to US every year. I’ll tell him to get me one SWFA next time he’s over ( April ). We’ll soon see how they compare against marquee scopes. It will probably be a keeper though …
Because many of us use holdovers , not turrets I think so it doesnt matter. I agree about fixed mag scopes like edgun and I wish I didn’t follow sniperqty about the scope recommendation which is the sidewinder. But I would be afraid that 10x is not enough. What do you think ? My vulcan has just arrived at the airport which my scope is still new in box.
10x, for me, is all too little mag for any serious target work beyond 25 meters. Hardly even that. For hunting? Perfect.
I use a Sidewinder, personnaly I like using the elevation turret then I only have to hold off for wind. With Chairgun the moa charts on my iPhone are very accurate at 100 yes or less. Find the lasarred range, check wind direction, adjust the elev turret….and thwap….down goes Frazier!! I use the 20 1/2 mill dot reticle.

A really good scope I can personally recommend is the Edgun 10-44 mil/mil 30 mm tube , very light, excellent glass side focus. Compares favourably with the SWFA equivalent, both are built to military specification. Why are so many scopes fitted with mil reticles and moa turrets?
I knew you expected it but I couldn’t help it. It’s a nice piece of glass.
