While you’re waiting for your Matadors……..
I thought I would share with you how I coped waiting for my Matadors. It’s a loooong story with a lot to learn. I started this thread back in June 2011 while still waiting, – and oddly enough it became one of the most viewed threads on this forum.
This is how it started:
As it happens, I am the lucky owner of a serious harem of nice guns. And I frequently visit my summerplace on the coast down south in Norway, where weather is the only restriction to my shooting….
Summernights are nice and light with sunset around 22hrs….:
So yesterday I quit Oslo for a few weeks. Fed up with my loooongish waiting for ED and friends to deliver I took 11 members of my harem with me.
Here they are:
As some of you may know, I test and review guns for our Norwegian forum, and this time a comparison of springers is on the agenda….
So go ahead and name them, from left to right…….
And yes. There will be a more in depth test of Lelya 090 who has got new glasses for the occasion…….. 😉

I am lost here Kazzz, – what do you mean by “CZ” ? Is that a factory, a country or what ? In my world “CZ” is short for Czech Republic (where JSB pellets are being produced), – and that’s all I know….. 😳
Is it possible to reveal a little more detail ?

Zoco indeed.. I’m a man of not many words if you see others on this forum. I can enjoy a really long text if it is amusing with a glance of strange humor in it, but provides all the key elements of the question/answer.
Some are very good in it, I’m not 🙂 In my job I’m in meetings way too long because some people think they are interesting when telling boring long stories, or when they want to talk around the truth.
I like skipping the story part (because I’m not good in it) and provide clean answers understandable immediately for everyone without any possible gaps for questions.
Maybe you’re right, my post was very short, but the question was: what is the manufacture of the barrel? And the answer to that is: CZ 🙂
Now, I think your question is: how do I know?
Well because I know someone who had one. I’ve never shot the Calibre, but he gave me some specs and told me: David, you want to keep your Edgun. I thrust him and he told me it shoots good, but.. that’s it. Not outstanding like my Eddy.

the crickets if its the same thing i am thinking of used to be the hooligun the company was taken over last year, if it is the same i would be interested to see how they compere to the matador..
Another 10 days and I’ll be home and take delivery of my Crickets…. 😀

Just some surface rust on pins and around moderator threads….
The guns were very “dry” on arrival and could have done with some protective oil before shipment, – but nothing to worry about….. 😉

phew i dont think i will ever read a thread so long again in one go, i slowed a little when the girlie pics appeared.was it my imagination that there was rust inside the gun when the stock came off…

Having been “brought up” (matter of definition) with three sisters and later blessed with three daughters, – I know a bit about “speed dating”…..
But we keep it “outside the family”. Much more fun with their friends, – albeit still a cause for potential “conflict”.
I was not happy when my younger sister ran out of the room screeming: “Mammy, mammy: Trygve is taking his pants off…!!!! ”
I was five at the time…… 🙄
Since then I was never allowed to share room with my sisters…….. 😳
That said, – life changes and while still in Lanzarote (cant wait to get back to Oslo), I’ve had the pleasure of a visit from my middle daughter (25) over easter and she has learned a few things……
How many of you guys have a daughter that would supply you with a thing like this ?????:
