green mountain is doing the barrels, I seriously doubt you’ll need to shoot “thousands” of round through it to break it in 🙄

So the gun is going to cost $1500.00, and like all air rifles you should run a few thousand rounds down the barrel.

And at $1.00 per round?

Now that is a gun for the masses. ❗

RC,

Are you saying you need to run a few thousand rounds for break in purposes? If so, I would suggest that not ALL airguns need a break in with many rounds fired. Sadly, most gun makers don’t ream and lap their barrels before shipping the gun, they leave barrel finishing to the customer and the customer gets to stumble through with sometimes random advice regarding how to get consistent performance. Properly finishing a barrel after pulling the rifleing is time consuming but helps produce results like these: http://www.airgunrendezvous.com/rendezvous/read.php?8,141.

All that said, I might need to go buy Timmy some .357 molds if the Rogue shooters are going to need thousands of slugs!

Good shots.

Jerry,

No, I am just adding to the bullshit hype about buck a shot ammo.

It does seem like when someone has a Crosman product that does not shoot, that is the first advice they give him.

Jim sais that the gun is gonna cost around 1500 dollars. At least for now. Production starts in MAY

I’ll take the Corsair thank you.

Yep my 308 Corsair does just fine lol.
Never will I pay $1500 for a gun I have to breake in.
None to date will shoot as consistant with my Green Mountain Barrels. Not even the CZ 22 rim . 😀

Right now the Yellow is all a tither about this new Crosman, on one hand it is the anitchrist and on the other hand it is a pile of misdirected, excessive squirrel killing junk waiting to breakdown.

To me it looks bulky and offers little more in performance than what a korean gun could.

Having said that, if it had a pump handle on the tube and FX branded on the reciever and cost twice what we think it will, they would all have those 4 hour Cialias boners the commercials tell us to report to the AMA.

Me, I ordered a Ranger 58, it comes close to the old 1861 Springfield that left scores of dead on the battle field in the 1860’s and should do me fine chasing elk in the mahogany.

I vote ME to test that gun and give you guys a REAL evaluation….lol. No, SERIOUSLY…………………….

And at $1 a bullet from nosler, they can keep that shit. 25 bullets for 24.99. Oh shit, i forgot about SHIPPING cost for that box of bullets that you will have to get off the net. Thats at LEAST 10 more bucks for shipping.

I just want to see a non-biased review that doesn’t have bad info in it. Is that even possible from a gun writer?

So far there is bad info coming from every direction…..45 shots on low, 1100fps 1/2 oz shot loads, etc. These guys are getting sloppy.
