I have used many many airgun (paintball) with electronically controlled valves and hammers.
They are very consistent and reliable. I do not believe the electronics will cause any problems out of the ordinary. Sometimes boards do go dumb and have to be reprogrammed. On my guns you could program the gun by trigger pull. You could set the dwell time of the valve and trigger sensitivity.
In future versions maybe they will put in regualtor to work a ram the can cycle the action of the gun to make it semi auto.

I’m surprised by the abuse Crosman has taken given the limited data put out. If you ignore tha crap TG put out that makes it sound like all the maximums can be achieved concurrently and just look at the data JC put out, it’s still pretty impressive.
If you can get 10 100 fpe shots out of a .357 that fall in a very tight fps range, you’ve done something (assuming you don’t have a monster airtank, and the rogue doesn’t). I’ve seen any number of guns get 3-4 shots in a tight spread and I tested one that got 7 but if you can get 10 shots and keep the fps in single or low double digit variance, that’s a real accomplishment. Get 3 shots in a very tight spread at 250 and that’s pretty good too. I’m going to wait and see but so far the info from JC seems pretty good and while I take it with a lump of salt, it’s good enough to withhold any negative judgement until the gun is production ready… IMHO
Crosman rep Chip says TBA so they have no published price to date.
$1500 is not out of line compared to other bigbores being made

Well that being the case, and the price they say its going to cost, I’d say they need to scrap that gun, unless they want to send it up on the next shuttle for outer space experimentation. 😉
Pre-production specs are 100fpe – 250fpe depending on the slug used on low med or high setting. the 3 pre -programed in weights are 90gn, 145gn & 170 gn.
Yeah we have those weak deer. We take them with PBA. That’s 1300fps!!!! 😆
How about a box 1 foot by one foot by two feet, stuffed solid with rags? And shoot at it from the long side?
That way when they ever do make a gun that will shoot through it we can expect to pay $1000 for it and not get burnt LOLOLOL 😀
I haven’t seen any pellet rifle that will shoot through 4″ of Oak seasoned 2X4’s back to back and don’t ever think I’ll see it in my life time. Heck you can’t drive a nail through the ones Ive seen without drilling a hole in it first.
Lowe’s sells Heavy Pine treated 2X4′ and light kiln dried pine treated 2X4’s,
I used the heavy Pine treated and my 308 Corsair will go through both of them and not slow down. I might try 3 just for the sake of doing it, but if 2 don’t convince anyone then three will only add more argument.
Now the real thing that gets my goat is when they use a 1 gallon milk jug and shoot through it, That’s really kids play because you can drop that Milk jug and make the same mess. 😀 😀
Let me say this for clarity,, If a gun will penetrate 2 heavy Lowe’s 2X4’s it will go through the Skull of a Deer and come out of it’s ass hole 😀 😀 How much deader do you want it? lololol

I am with Jerry on this one we do not know alot about the gun. Sounds like an awesome idea and I am happy a name brand is jumping in to big bore air guns. A production gun is great. I am sure there will be tuners before these even reach the shelves! the platform looks like a great place to start.
