Regulator
Is anyone using a regulator on thier bottle with positive results?….
What pressure is the regulator set at if you are using one?…
What is the advantage?

This regulator has its own filling nosle, so it would be very simple.
I think the trick is filling the tank?
Since it was done by others, they would just have to thread the male part of regulator to accept the AF bottle and thread the female CO2 valve part to take the AF valve. All we would have to do is remove the valve from the bottle pu it on the regulator and screw the regulator in the AF bottle.
Humm! sound tooooo simple must be a trick some where.
Man I don’t know the answer to that one Blackwidowman. There must be a difference if it does not fit the AF bottle….My regulator is not on an AF bottle
Would a CO2 valve fit a Condor bottle and hold the pressure? Just wondering why the regulator doesn’t just fit in the bottle
50yds…These are all 5 shot groups…Bottom left has one hole out of frame.. Looks worse than my 65yd targets….But then again these are Kodiaks….They just won’t group with this rifle or with me shooting it….Not sure which is the problem….More practice….
Here is the 24″ barrel..Not quite sure how many shots are here but at least 15….Same wind blowing at an intermittent 5-10mph
right to left..With the wind blowing the way it was the
most I could hope for on either target, was consistant
elevation..Windage was really hard to figure out….I had
this gun set on PW 11/11 and wasn’t happy…I moved it
to PW 13 and got a lot more consistancy….I did have one
valve/regulator dud..It didn’t even blow the pellet out of
the barrel….All the shots before and after that were fine….
It seems that if you let the gun sit for a while the first shot
comes out soft too….
Soooo, I am happy with the regulator but I don’t quite trust it on every shot…
You never know when the dud is going to show up….
Other than that is gives me a ton of full power shots
per fill and is pretty consistant on both guns….

Wind was gusting right to left and I was trying to
hold off 1 mildot right to compensate…..Not sure
what happened to the shot at the bottom…Just a
regulator dud I guess…. 24″ barrel is next….

The Condor with the 12″ barrel is shooting 1-1.5″ groups
and the Condor with the 24″ barrel is shooting sub 1″ groups
at 65yds with the regulated tank. I am tickled pink….I think
my testing is complete….

2 shots out of 32 were disappointing….#17, & 26
Condor with Condor weight.
Hammer and hammer spring lubed with a
Slick50/Break Free blend.
PW 11/11
Reg. 2,000psi
24″ barrel
Both guns seem to be performing acceptably well….
Hopefully I can shoot some groups tomorrow to see
what they look like on paper..Will be interesting to see
what the 12″ does at 65yds…….
Tested the regulated tank today after lubing the
hammer and the hammer spring and replacing the
faulty co2 adapter with one that seems to have a
valve that works smooth as budda……
I ran strings with the Condor I just bought with
the hammer weight in and 12″ barrel.
PW on 4/4, 6/6, 8/8, and 10/10.. The most
consistant was PW 10/10. The fps ran between
729 and 740 (mostly mid 730’s) with 2 shots back
to back jumping up to 779 and 781 out of 32 shots.
Still can’t figure out why it does that….It is raining
and a freezing 45deg outside so, no targets to post today….

I could but it would void the warranty….
I am getting another one tomorrow with the Condor I bought so I am just sending this one back for full refund….
Hard to push it in and when it does go in it gets stuck…
Maybe that was the inconsistancy friggin problem…..AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 😯
man I hate going through the friggin return and
replacement crapola…..Back to PA tomorrow….
Can you pull it apart to show a pic of what they used for parts in there and the failure?

Here is the 18″ barrel on the stock Condor with
the regulator..PW set at 10/10..The regulator is still jumping around
every once in a while but for the most part it is
pretty consistant….Van at Airhog told me the
regulator was bleeding up….That is why some
of the shots go higher or lower I think…
Well I took 4 shots on the left side (one shot is out of the frame)
to figure the hold over then just shot up the middle of
the target….Once I couldn’t tell where I was
hitting anymore I started shooting at the 7’s
and then at the words on the top and bottom….
The regulator is giving me a ton of shots and I
guess I can’t complain if it goes off once in a while…
The regulator seems to work best if I only fill the tank
to 2,800psi.
I am looking into the setup Airhog has so that is another
ongoing project…..
