Today, after mowing my Ma’s lawns, and then having to use the strimmer(I think you guys call them weed whackers?) to clear 4ft X 300ft corridor, in absoultely appaling side winds ranging from about 5mph to 30mph, I managed this effort at 100 yards……
I was shooting prone, but was very wobbly with no back support.
This rig will without doubt shoot a sub 1″ group, probably tighter than that, but I need a good rest and some calm weather…
I only shot 3 five round groups ‘cos the wind was so high, this was the best..
Will be back to my Ma’s farm on Thurs so should hopefully have some better conditions to shoot in.

That 2nd picture is 100? Looks a hell of a lot further than that!! Tree behind looks tiny!! More like 200, you got very long legs maybe and you’ve paced it out? 😆
Cameras shots are pretty deceptive though.

Well, I managed a few groups today before the heavens opened. Best I could do was exactly 1″ ctc 😡 Oh, and I could only do 97.5 yrds as the bigger fields were in use. 👿
Wind was ok at around 5 to 10 in gusts, with a decent lull for a few seconds inbetween so I can’t blame that.. 🙄 😆
I’m staying here for the night so hopefully I’ll get another chance tomorrow. My chrony is playing up and I’m pretty sure the consistency isn’t there, which is a great excuse 😛 😛
Once I’m home again I’ll post up some pics of the shoot.
ya wait for me guys! i’ve got 65 yard clear! just got finished tuning up for the 25 JSB’s! yall wudnt lying them pellets are damn accurate!

i think u need to deduct .012″ off your groups as the handycap
Mam. this sat is now confirmed for my 100 groups, just gotta hope not too much wind. Met’ says about 8mph from the west so should be do-able….
Make sure you connect your hand’s USB cable to the PC, that way you could have the PC control the trigger pull 😉
But, then again, that would be cheating…. 😆 😆

That second picture is what I pace out to be 100 yards.
If I remember correctly, google distance measurement tool shows it at around 140 yards.
I need to get myself a rangefinder….. 😀
Im getting my gun up and running slowly, Just sent Marmot Militia a PM about an E-tacReg…
Just need to finish my breech (Make an O-ring cutting tool, Cut the O-ring grooves, add the sear cut out and add a handle.
Make some better fitting barrel bushings

Get an E-tacReg
Make my own Big Bore valve
And I should be ready.
However, when I get some .22 pellets and finished hacking about my Air Arms S410 stock, I can at least shoot some .22 groups
