100 YARD .25 CALIBRE CONTEST!!

Today, after mowing my Ma’s lawns, and then having to use the strimmer(I think you guys call them weed whackers?) to clear 4ft X 300ft corridor, in absoultely appaling side winds ranging from about 5mph to 30mph, I managed this effort at 100 yards……
I was shooting prone, but was very wobbly with no back support.
This rig will without doubt shoot a sub 1″ group, probably tighter than that, but I need a good rest and some calm weather…
I only shot 3 five round groups ‘cos the wind was so high, this was the best..
Will be back to my Ma’s farm on Thurs so should hopefully have some better conditions to shoot in.

Ive only got about a few hours of free time each day and that is from 6PM till whenever. Not the best time for doing things.
Also, my rifle is in bits. Here is a list of things I need to do….
-New better fitting barrel bushes
-Re-crown
-Steel breech with much tighter tolerances and double o-rings
-New high flow valve with better tolerances
-New regulator pre-chamber with canted paintball threads for mounting a 48CI tank
-Possibly another hammer
So yeah, quite a few things to do, However, I should have the Bushings, breech, valve, and maybe the regulator pre-chamber done this weekend.
But I WILL!!!!! be posting groups when I can

Make sure you connect your hand’s USB cable to the PC, that way you could have the PC control the trigger pull 😉
But, then again, that would be cheating…. 😆 😆

Weather permitting, I’m gonna try and get some groups done this weekend.
I have converted my rifle into a disabled friendly setup so I should be good to go…. 😳 😆

Lol, actually I thinks he’s snowed under with collage work and wotnot. And as far as UK shooters, thats about all we have representing this Septic Isle!
My rifle is shooting VERY nicely at the moment( been doing some 40 yrd groups out of my den window) 1 holers easy 😀 If the wind holds off I’ll get to the farm and show you boys how to do it…. 🙄 😆

I ordered a 11 degree crown cutter from Brownells. It finally came in today. After work, I had a bunch of running around to do and didn’t get a chance to use it till late. I worked really well and cleaned up the crown in no time.
It wasn’t quite dark yet so I headed to the range. I sighted in at 50 yards and the Matador was shooting really good. I shot about 60 shots and then I thought that I would shoot some shotgun shells, at 100 yards. I shot a couple but, it was getting really hard to see them.
I had also set out a target at 101 yards and I could still see the crosses on it. I shot 9, 5 shot groups as quick as I could get the cross and try to settle down. On the 9th group, the last 3 shots were off of the regulator. I was not taking my time. I started on the 10th group but, I just couldn’t see the target anymore.
I am happy with the re crowning. I think that it made a noticeable improvement. Then again, I could just be full of shit! 😆
I will know more when I go back out, can take my time and have a more solid shooting setup.

We need a category for the worst 100 yard groups. I am going shooting today and we are susposed to have 17 mph winds this afternoon! 😯
Start some new contests…. There isn’t enough target posting here… Could
use more posts of groups from any guns and any distances….
Each should have its own category, 22.25 , ect , some guys dont have the 25 ……yet!
you guys have me beat, best i can get is about 1.5 group with a 10x scope , hard to see with 10x.@100 yds
15 x , I might shrink it a tad .
