Q:

1st Rogue in…….NOT GOOD

If you haven’t seen it over on the Yellow, the 1st Rogue experience is not a good one.

I have to say that even today, i am still amazed at how folks will DEFEND a gun that doesn’t shoot well and its manufacturer. Were is the FIGHT in all of us anymore? Everyone is telling the guy to send the gun back to Crosman and Crosman will make it right. Am i the only IDIOT who still beieves in the simple principle that if they don’t get it right the first time then why give them a second one. For 1300-1500 bucks, 25 bucks for 25 bullets, and a shit load of HYPE, if i got results like what that guy got, Crosman would receive a RETURN package from me alright, but my Rogue would not be in it…lol. It just amazes me how folks get crap and all anyone can say is, “they’ll do you right, send it back”. It cost time and money to ship a gun “ONCE PAID FOR” back for repairs or service that it SHOULD NOT NEED in the first place. Trust me, i know that if i DO NOT know how to work on airguns, then i have no choice but to return it but this is simply BULLSHIT.

I guess my attitude comes from having one too many AIRguns that cost a ton of money have issues from the jump. BB guns simply COST waaayyy to fucking much money for what they are and for the problems they have to exist when NEW.

AM I THE ONLY ONE?

lol…i don’t think the corsair has any worries from the rogue. Even if all the rogue could at least hold air, 4 initial reports tell me the Rogue is not accurate at all. My corsair can put 2 shots into a small figure 8 at 100 yards.

Don’t quite understands Crosmans views and goals and intentions on their products but the could easily improve all guns by simply adding a LW barrel to their products. Just like most ALL other airgun company’s do.

Synop: From my understanding, it’s just a random guy that has one out in the desert here. he does not frequent forums. His has no problem holding air but from a 3rd party source it was said the gun was loud and not accurate. Since he lives in the desert, he has a 150 yard range right in his back yard.

I keep my corsair set for 45 yards, depending on where I put my table.
So I tried it at 75 yards and it put both shots using 115 grain pellets 4 inches low and the two shots was less then an inch apart. It don’t get any better than that. 😀

Don’t feel used @ all. I got him to respond didn’t I…… I will do it again if a question is asked that was different than the op topic. I don’t think he thought anyone would hold him to it & ask again….. 😉

Sorry, “pawn” was the correct term.

Notice Chip vanished after he got you to make the topic and the “real” questions started…

Nice job.

Do you feel used?

Do you think you’ll do it again if he asks nicely?

How about starting a real topic every time that one hits the bottom of the page until Chip “Mr. Spinster” Crosman answers the questions?

I’d call that starting down the road to redemption.

Class act that company, reminds me of our fucking government. “Everything is great and we worked it all out, now go eat your peas and get in the unemployment line. I’m off to go be on tv and then fly my plane to the Vineyard to play golf.”

Synopsys, not a plant, just asked the question in a new post like Chip requested. And if you read my post or past posts you would know i’ve been critical of Crosman.

Perfect!! 😉

Just a point of interest, Crossman bought a .357 Corsair to test.
Also, XP is working on a .308/.357 rifle called the Scout. No electronics, no plastic, no batteries needed, and it’s cheaper than the Rogue.

NOw the op has changed the initial post. At first it was just a question, now it says that Chip ASKED for the question to be asked…

😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯

Spin motherfucker SPIN!!! 🙄

ANOTHER person has put “only 150” rounds with issues on keeping air and problems with the first two shots and is using “wishful thinking that the initial difficulties would magically repair them selves”… Obviously without luck.

And Chip says the issues have been resolved? Quality control is high from the factory?

WTF is going on here? Why won’t he address the posts looking for help on the very rifle he is spinning? Was it just a plug for the tv show?

Why just use a plant to put out a question to pitch a spin and ignore the issue posts on the very same rifle?

Things are looking good for the other manufacturers of quality big bore rifles and not so good for Crosman…

Really?

Now that is one test i’d believe in, well, if…

The real question is will it come from PA as in a random rifle off the shelf or will you get one that has been setup prior to it being sent to you? Or set up for someone like Chip to tour with…

I think in order to do this right you should get one off the shelf from PA. Otherwise I would have a hard time believing that it’s a true sample of what is out there based on the current real world “reviews”.

Hell if you really wanted to do it up. Get one of those two rifles that have “issues” and see what is really going on.

I have been shooting a tuned up and tricked out USFT rifle, as much as I hope mine is similar, chances are it will need ‘stuff’ done to it in order to perform like the one I have been using… The freaking thing shoots like a dream, I finished Sunday’s match with a 43/48 it was my second FT match ever, came in tied for second place against a the guy currently in the lead for the season! Best score of the day was 47/48.

Hopefully if everything goes well, i will be able to get my hands on one BRIEFLY 😈

Maybe i can get some pics and video……we will c.

Fess up guys, who put the cards on the table?!?! 😯

Where is my popcorn…?

This ot’ta be good! :13:

And the yes men come out of the woodwork…

I don’t believe he admitted there were issues and if telling customers that there is a design flaw is an ‘effective response” and an example of “Testing and quality control have been rigorous” i’m Elvis Presley and I just rose from the dead…

Spin it Chip spin it buddy!!!

Absolutely fucking oblivious…

Chip “You fillin it wrong damnit!” at Crosman

Not much on the forums but PROBLEMS… Apparently Crosman has been quiet on the admission that there are leaking issues from a purported design problem…

Keep spinning Chip, it’s what you do. 😉

Did you see my USFT on the bench? 😎

I have only seen PA, Cabela’s and Midway USA with advertisements.

Midway wants $1900… 😯 😯 😯

I think only PA has had them in stock so far. 😉
