25.5 fpe @ 65yds…I was blown away at the power…
I, for some reason, thumbed my nose up at anything less than 35fpe because I had no idea how much knock down power that was at longer distances…Well today I shot some Beeman Kodiaks at some pellet tin lids at 65yds with a muzzle fpe of 25.5 and I could not believe the amount of force that was still left at 65yds….I would say it is more than enough for any small game at that distance and possible 10-20 yds further….After going through the pellet tins, the pellets were buried in treated pine that has been sitting outside for over a year. It was not soft. I could see these shots going straight through any small game at this distance…

I was messing around in the backyard over the weekend and was able to cut
an old 4″ by 5/8″ birch plank in half @ ~30 yds using Predator .22 Cal, 16.5 grn
Polymags. It took several shots (I counted ~25, but it may have been closer to
30), but I got’r dun. 😉
The spent pellets continued on and embedded 1/8″ into an 8×8 fence post 5ft
or so behind the plank; and I’m shooting low power settings with a Talon valve
setup (not the condor)!
The power is very impressive, IMHO. Can’t wait to get out hunting and draw
first blood with it. I’m assuming it’ll be a pass-through shot. 8)
