I bought a .25 Marauder from a wholesaler and it is due in Friday. Has anyone else received one yet?

So would you say a set of high rings will do it? 🙄

Thanks.

Don’t know.. Just supplying information….

Steve or Shaggy,

What size scope rings will work on the 25. m-rod, that will clear the clip? 🙄

Got mine gun to day, shot it with no scope to see how quite it is.
It needs a de-pinger for sure.

Thanks.

I have a set of high medium and low…
Here are the measurements for each…
Bottom of scope tube clamp to top of Dovetail scope rail clamp
High = 0.946″
Med = 0.554″
low = 0.380″

Here are some pictures of two sheets of 3/4″ plywood that the 30gr Kodiaks
blew right through and chipped the block wall behind them. These were
20 yards away from our shooting point. Some of the groups were shot
with the 20gr FTS pellets.

1st sheet

2nd sheet

Absolutely one hell of a string…. Crosman sucks…. Benjamin rocks…lol

Thanks Shaggy for the info.
Nice numbers Steve.

Got a e-mail my 25, m-rod is on the way! 😯

I’ll post some numbers also.

Here is my latest shot string using 20gr Beeman FTS pellets @ the top of 3000psi:

For the first 10 shots ONLY, here are the stats; Lo=924 Hi=935 Avg=932 Es=15.4 SD=5.6. The end pressure was just over 2000psi. That was two magazines for 16 shots total.

The tuning continues 😀

Is that at 70ft again? 🙄

It looks like this gun is going to be a winner.

It is on par with the Dominator 1250 0.25 it make the same fpe.
Now we can see a profile of the gun now taking shape.

Good work Steve. 😀

I will try to answer for him. The virtual one hole group looks about right I don’t have any photos, but the gun shoots flat from 10 to 25 yards real good.

Well boys……

I sent in my milk money for one! And it’s one the way! 😯
I’ll do my write up also here.

A couple questions, for you guys how many shots are you getting on a fill.
And is the 25. as quite as the 177 or 22. m-rod? 🙄

Thanks. 😀

The most noise I’m getting is when it hits the target.
If you use a peace of treated flooring as a back stop forget it, you’ll just shoot through it and hope no one is on the other side it still has a lot of spunk when it comes out the other side.
And yep the Ping is there like the other two 17 and 22.
These guns are way superior at 25 yards than most custom 22 rifles. I own rugger 1022 with custom barrels and these guns will out shoot them on average.

I vote for a string starting at 3,200psi……..3,400 would be preferable but
3,200 would give a great idea of exactly how high the FPS can go.

EDIT: User should never exceed the recommended operating pressures of
the manufacturer////…..lol

I am still adjusting the metering screw, but here are some numbers:
All shot strings started with a 3000psi fill pressure. I am only shooting 5 Kodiaks as I am still tuning and I don’t want to waste them.

.25 cal 30gr Beeman Kodiak pellets
875, 866, 864, 856, 856………………that’s 51 FPE at the top 😀

I still have more tuning to do, but I will post my final numbers when I get there.

I like this magazine. After the last round is shot, the bolt is prevented from going into battery on an empty chamber. You definitely know when you are out of ammo. 😀

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, but I will try to shoot a few strings as well as do some fine tuning of the metering screw. I am curious also about the curve. 😀 I need to get some 25gr pellets and see how they perform. If this gun prefers Kodiaks, that’s OK with me.

Yes, it is 70 feet…that’s the distance across my backyard.

Is that at 70ft again? 🙄

It looks like this gun is going to be a winner.

It is on par with the Dominator 1250 0.25 it make the same fpe.

Good work Steve. 😀

Sorry guys, I haven’t had time to shoot strings. Tomorrow is Easter and things are crazy here. I was lucky to get done what I have.

The #2 target is the 30gr Kodiaks at 850+ fps. I measures 3/4″ CTC.
