A Baby .177 Cricket is Born
I would like to thank Steve and the gang at WAGG for a safe delivery. 😆 I do have the cheek piece but forgot to pop it on for the first photos. Actual targets using both light and heavy JSBs were supplied and impressive along with shot string results. About 900 fps with the heavies and 955 fps with the lights. I was actually looking to tune it to exactly 900 fps with the heavies. Too cool.

I find that 4 mags is a must have. Who wants to load mags in the middle of a pigeons pest festival

As I said Steve is working on the longer stock for the 25 deal for us recent buyers. I just talked to Charlie and it is just a matter of doing it, to swap this bulldog to the 25 and vice versa so no big deal. I dealt with a shroud problem too on a N.C. LDC but Ernest to the rescue and fixed it for me pronto, He and WWAG are a great team for us US guys. I have not got my scope or additional mags as I order 4 extras with each gun. Kind of a bad habit cause I only use 2 most of the time but Tony and the Edgun mag rationing deal turned me into an aluminum mag horder :biggrinn:
I really like my synthetic bulldog…. Took the mag holder out but it’s not that noticeable to warrant having it off so I put it back on.
I’m gonna find a light scope for it eventually.
I can still take a pigeon at 60 yards off hand. So the weight isn’t bad.
I bet Steve will replace the stock eventually if you want the skeleton. Did you receive the Aeon scope? I have heard nothing in over a week after Jesse’s second email. 😯
Ride I actually happen to like these stocks over skeleton. Mine are even the tactical version. I guess mine are work horses and never get shot in the house. What would you prefer bad shroud or wrong stock? :ugeek:

Mine arrived this afternoon. I was surprised to see it had a Bulldog stock. I am doomed to have the wrong stock on every cricket I guess 😕 It looks a tinge longer than the Skeleton so I will see about swapping it to my 25 and putting that Skeleton on this gun. Might be the best both ways. This gun certainly feels heavier with this stock than my 22 compact did. This is so quiet I can’t hardly hear it. It must be set at sub. 12lbs. as it never went through Charlies setup process.

The pellet in the picture looks like our historic USA Liberty Bell with the crack in it.
I got thrown out from a Swedish AG forum after i spoke my mind about these rediculous attempts for an airgun. That led to a “minor” dispute with the Queerest, hypocrate of a moderator on the Net and thus i´m banned for good. What a loss …
I actually considered buying one of these Turkish marvels of engineering just to be able to use it as a target but thought that would be a waste of Pellets. The craziest part : The Hatsan Galatian – their new Flagship – costs as much as an FX Royal here in Sweden. What a Rape ! :angrymob:
Don´t get me started on those Turkish POS airsticks. One of the worst quality AG´s (and shotguns) ever made in modern time. The QC is so bad it has to be non-existing. The workers at the Hatsan Factory are either badly trained Monkeys or Monkeys with no training whatsoever.

You can’t tell the difference in a Hatsan. 😆
I just came across this advertising photo of a hatsun vortex pellet on Amazon, not exactly confidence inspiring

I have found one thing and one thing only regarding the Pellets ; The light ones don´t seem to shoot good in any high power PCP´s at higher speed. I quess those light ones are more for Springers and such shooting at quite a bit lower velocities. But , as said so many times , i could be wrong too …
These are lite but I cannot help but want to give them a try when as my baby cricket arrives, Crosman Destroyers 7.9G do they ever work in anything anybody knows of ??

I know. I find myself clicking the pictures over and over again uncontrollably for the porn. 😛
When I clicked on the target porn came up along with the target…..hehehe WTF???

I was right about the power being dialed down, I took it home at lunch, swapped stocks and chronyed it and sure enough 220 fps, 1.12 ft. lb. of energy. :confusedn: I installed the heavy spring and dialed it in quickly with charlie’s tech support to get 945 initially and then I’ll bring it back to around 895 to give 14″ of drop at 100 yards as all of my other guns are tuned. So far so good.
