But I need to also add :2cents:
Its like ordering a Cricket and getting a P12,
So this is my repost….
Wife says I am taking to much testosterone, What does she no!!!!!!!!

Sucks on the barrels on the Mutants,
I am still a little confused how they can say Germany and be a Korean barrel? Last time I look on the map them two places are not even close to each other, Maybe I missed the post on how its done,
I just wonder what the Listone barrels are selling for? ( You can PM me the price)
My CZ barrel cost me an extra 75 dollars,
If my gun is shipped with anything else , It will be unfired and boxed back up for a full refund,
I do not care how the dam thing shoots , Its not what I paid for.
Some mistakes can get through, But I read the add Like everyone else, WTF.
I will spend my money somewhere else,,,,
Money does not grow on trees for me, I got to dig that shit up,
Mike
PS If you think I am being unfair , You can bite my ass!!!!!!

To fix extra length, I think the breech end of the barrel would need to cut and machined. That would get rid of the “dimple” as well. No? If the barrel is legit, I would send it to dman to fix it.

dman could be the “Mike Ehrmantraut” of the airgun business..ha!

Gabe

the dimple sits midway between the scope rail towers.I’d have a 6-inch barrel! :suprisedn: There is no alignment dimple near the breech on this barrel.

btw I have to correct myself. TGAG’s site says the gun is approximately 23 inches long so I was wrong in my previous post where I assumed TGAG’s gun would be nearer to the 22 inches I’ve seen elsewhere. I overlooked that bit.

The shorty should be 575 mm long 22.6378 inches. no approximately.

Man I can’t understand wtf is going on with these guys. I’ve got a standard model but it came superb right out of the box. I don’t think these things are selling so fast that they cannot thoroughly check them out before they ship. I really want to lay down the money on a short, but I’m a little concerned at this point. I guess I could just buy one and fit it with my spare cricket barrel. I just think at that price they should come working right. Welcome to the airgun business I guess.

I got one of the “German” barrels as well. Seems like a nice gun, but I feel a little like I’ve been duped, as I’m sure you all do as well. We were advertised Czech barrels, not the Korean barrels, and did not get what we paid for. What’s the best way to contact Peter? I’d like to voice my disappointment.

Yeah, these guns are rather sexy in their own kinda way :8:

Gabe

Remember, my short has a bit of length added bc of Hagans adapter.

aww man! my Short is longer than your Short. 🙁 might be a tight fit, but maybe worth a try. If nothing else,I can put my Airmax PCP pistol in it.Nice-looking gun btw. 😉
Darryl

No problem

Hey Gabe, can you fit your Short in there with a scope mounted? hmmm… 😀

Hi Gabe,
I can see the accuracy of the gun benefiting from dropping the velocit a little. With the barrel misaligned to the TP bringingthe power down, the accuracy noticeably was better in in my short ra; not huge better, but better.. That bodes well for me in my urban environment.A little less power for a bit more accuracy means I can feel a bit better about shot placement. If I get to do some long-range shooting, I still have my R3M (if I don’t try to sell it again). I’ll need to do some chrony work and tweaking.
Anyone know what the regulators are set to from the factory? I’m sure it was mentioned somewhere. Maybe I’ll give it a search. I might lighten the second stage just a bit more, and shorten the first stage to barely detectable. Good for target shooting.
Darryl
PS lots of spare rifle cases hanging around, but I need a good bag for this little thing.

Thank You Dman!

Looks like Darryl and Elmer received the non “made in Germany” barrels. I’d say those are CZ’s based on the dimple. However, looks like they are about an inch too long. Who ever assembled them appears to not know what the fuck they were doing or assumed the user will figure it out. Something wrong with that 🙄

Anyways, looks like you guys might have good shooters there. Keep us posted por favor..

Gabe
