Q:

Bullpup owners – About us

Hey guys, I’ve been on this forum as you know almost 24/7 hahhaha. I really enjoy interacting with everyone especially on a topic/hobby that I love as a kid and was recently re-ignited. I find myself going full speed into it and learning as much as I can of a world I never knew existed. Thanks to the inter-nerd(internet) we’ve been able to connect with so many like minded people around the world. I thank all the non-english speaking members who are trying their hardest to contribute through a translator. Even on topics not related to air guns, I am always interested in learning about where people are from and their cultures. So this thread is to try to get to know some of you guys a little better rather than your screen names. I personally like to address people by their first name rather than their screen name like Rocketlauncher lol, that is just an example by the way. I would understand if you do not feel comfortable with it, feel free to browse through 🙂

I’ll start with a little info about myself:

First Name: Donny
Location: Orlando, Florida
Occupaton: Web designer

Below is a picture of my backyard. Not the biggest but big enough for us. Behind the white fence is a large conservation area. I’ve seen rabbits, squirrels, snakes and bobcats back there when I remove a section of it to access the back.

My other interest is gardening, we have over 20 fruit trees in the back. Mangos, pappya, grape fruit, blue berry, peach, and persimmons just to name a few.

My dad and I building a trellis for our butternut squash

And of course my little family. My wife is Mexican, I am Vietnamese so I guess that makes my son Filipino?

Edit** My other son Kane(pitbull)

my real guns alllll over the place.

damn that sucks…i guess my wife had no choice..lol…i had paintball guns…pellet rifles and my real guns alllll over the place.
So she was surrounded with my infatuation of guns. but for the longest it was springer air rifles only because they were the only ones in my budget and the thought of an air rifle being 800-1000 dollars was outrageous, Until my cousin showed me one of teds video and he was shooting the matador….and the rest was history

Cool. It took my wife 29 years to get into them.

quote Urgirlinmyjetta:

The funny thing is that she USED to hate guns….so much to a point that if i cocked the gun it would make her twitch….but after years of her hearing that noise and me shooting and playing with them….Ive got her to shoot them and get over her fear of them….now she actually loves to shoot the air rifles….( well the pcp ones atleast….the springers have too much of a kick for her liking)…so hence the pic i needed to take of her shooting my matador.

She should kill you. She probably hates guns. 🙂

What is a bullpup and where can I get one?

Bullpup is Latin for a smallish, young Bull. You can get one at all well stocked county fair´s or at your friendly local Farmer.
I suspect you like all hoofed and horned animals. Right ?? 😀

Looks somewhat like a Wolverine ! Those are quite nasty buggers too-Wolverines. One beat a living shit out of my fathers friends dog once.

My Canadian bruin. Would you believe small but mean? 😛 Like a big raccoon. The Russian boar I got was really mean. 👿

quote Sir Ville:

Big enough so one doesn´t want to meet one of them unarmed … There´s both brown & black Bear in Eastern Finland. Lots of them buggers …

EDIT : Forgot to answer to your question: Brown bear around 300 kg (male) and female a bit smaller. Nothing to play around with …

I found a couple of pics taken before the accident when i was still standing on my feet. The first one is taken exactly one week before the accident. A friend of mine has his own little plane you can see on the background. We landed at a little airport in Gaildorf on our way to see one of the final Motocross GP´s for the season and i had this T-shirt on me. The airport personnel weren´t in a very humorous mood and said they´d call a “Polizei” if i didn´t change my T-shirt immediately. I wonder why…
We took a Taxi from the AP to the MX track and the Cab driver – who was originally from Serbia – wanted to buy that T-shirt from me so it ended up somewhere in Germany at the end.

The second pic is me at my parents house in Finland making sandwitches before a Bear hunt. Those days, at 6´3″/245 lbs i was able to wrestle down a Bear if needed – now i can roll over ones paws and while it jumps around in pain i can shoot it! :1:

hi ville i like that,,
how big do the bears go in inland?
rgds steve

It sure took us to and back from Southern Germany fast enough. I recall we were cruising at around 3oo km/h with four persons and little luggage. I quess you can easily add a couple of hundred thousand USD on that if you buy it here. The owner just got this idea a couple of years back and wanted to get a pilots license. When he realized it took at least 18 months or so to make it here he flew over to Arizona and did his license there in about one months time. It costed him a pretty penny with the accommodation and those intensive lessons every day but as said he´s not one with empty pockets so he usually does these kinds of stunts. All the time …

That plane cruises over 200 mph (339 km/hr). Over $700k US.

quote Sir Ville:

Yeah, this guy is loaded. He actually imported the plane from Arizona or somewhere around and hired a guy who flew it to Sweden (via Canada,Iceland etc.) and then took a regular flight back to US. The plane was still far cheaper than buying it from Sweden. Weird …
