Hey guys, I’ve been on this forum as you know almost 24/7 hahhaha. I really enjoy interacting with everyone especially on a topic/hobby that I love as a kid and was recently re-ignited. I find myself going full speed into it and learning as much as I can of a world I never knew existed. Thanks to the inter-nerd(internet) we’ve been able to connect with so many like minded people around the world. I thank all the non-english speaking members who are trying their hardest to contribute through a translator. Even on topics not related to air guns, I am always interested in learning about where people are from and their cultures. So this thread is to try to get to know some of you guys a little better rather than your screen names. I personally like to address people by their first name rather than their screen name like Rocketlauncher lol, that is just an example by the way. I would understand if you do not feel comfortable with it, feel free to browse through 🙂
I’ll start with a little info about myself:

Occupaton: Web designer
Below is a picture of my backyard. Not the biggest but big enough for us. Behind the white fence is a large conservation area. I’ve seen rabbits, squirrels, snakes and bobcats back there when I remove a section of it to access the back.
My other interest is gardening, we have over 20 fruit trees in the back. Mangos, pappya, grape fruit, blue berry, peach, and persimmons just to name a few.

And of course my little family. My wife is Mexican, I am Vietnamese so I guess that makes my son Filipino?

Im not big into posting or replying. I just sit back and learn and laugh a lot! Im 41 with 2 kids and a very understanding wife. I don’t have much time to shoot with all the running of kids. I have an Edgun .22 strd, and recently bought a cricket .25 from steve at Wild West Airguns, what a great guy he is, we talked like I have known him for years, I wiil be calling him again for all my airgun needs,seriously,GIVE THIS GUY A CALL,YOU WONT BE SORRY! p.s. Thanks for contributing UGMYJ! Reminds me of a song by Ace Hood called “Hustle Hard” he says: “Mama need a house, baby need some shoes” hahahaha. I can totally relate though, everything I want to buy for my hobby, always get challenged by we need this and that. So if I buy a 2k gun I have to give her 1k to spend on whatever she wants. That’s fair right? No wonder you only get 2hrs to shoot over the weekends. PA to NY is a long drive. I used to live in Harrisburg and Middletown PA. Then we moved to Poughkeepsie NY, went to college at UCONN then moved to Florida shortly after graduation.
I own house is in Pennsylvania which is were my shooting happens, along with snowboarding and paintballing….unfortunately work isn’t that great here so I travel to New York were I work in construction.
Sup guys sorry for the late reply….let’s start off with my username….no I don’t drive a Jetta anymore, I made this name when I was in my mid-teens and at that time I did drive a nice Jetta but since kids came along that at went a looooong time ago…I’m 28 now with 2 kids and a wife, which is why it’s soo hard to just spend a couple hundred at any given time on my airgun hobby…..right now I have an edgun matador R3 standard .22 and a soon to be kalibrgun cricket .22…

Thanks for the entry Tedd, I definitely enjoy reading your post. I find them informative, holy mother of pearl, just notice your pants are down around your ankles. I always wondered what country boys do on their spare time 😯 Just did some research on Lincoln, IL. Only city to be named after Abe. 2010 census shows around 14,500 people. That’s pretty small. Each family must own a lot of acres. I live in a community in Orlando called Avalon Park and we have 20,000 people alone.
I am also not so patently waiting for the first R3 30 cal long version to make it to the US. If mine isn’t the only one to make it here, I have one of the 20 that Ed is making in his initial trial run reserved: I think/hope! The 30 cal will be my 6th Matador.

Just an oldgoat here. 1 R2.5 22 cal standard, a R3 25 cal standard, a R3 25 cal long and a home built piece of shit FX Boss bullpup that needs to start getting its shit together soon or I will sell the damn thing for a loss. Edguns are easy to sell, you just have to ask for at least what you gave for them and they last quick. I hope to get at least $300 less than my cost for my Boss if I sell it.

i am just joking, and want to share some funny words, otherwise i don’t know whether you know my story or not, Eduard knows that i am trying almost 2 years for finding the way that how to import the Edgun to my country, i am just kidding, of course Edgun worths waiting more than my waiting years, i am sure when i get it in my hand i will forget all the pain, :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Yeah – the breed is misunderstood due the idiotic owners who have them for dog fights and such. A GREAT family dog – if given a normal upbringing with straight rules and regs. Here´s a pic of my two bastards (the third-the old one- can be seen in the upper right corner ) laying on my bed like they owned the damned place.
About the weird name my `Weiler had : In Germany the big name breeders have these Kennel names and our dog was from a Kennel named Messerschmidt (Knifemaker in English-also a famous WW II fighterplane) and my dog was named Max Factor. Thus the name Max Factor von Messerchmidt (“von” is “from” in English = Max Factor from Messerscmidt) although for us he was just “Max”.

Ville I had two dogs 1 yr ago as well. My black and white pit was name Maximus. I got both dogs almost the same time. Both when they were 8 weeks old. Max is a few months older than Kane and today Kane is 7. August 17th will mark the 1 yr anniversary of his death. He had many health issues. I never thought I could love a dog like a human, but I gave everything to make them happy. In the US, Pitbulls along with other bully breeds are highly frowned upon due to the media attention they get from people who train them to be killers. I am a pitbull advocate and try to give a good impression of the breed. Mostly have to defend them against other ignorant dog owners.
RIP to your Max Factor von Messerschmidt may he run free over the bridge pain free.

Glad you came out of your shell and posted Bruce 🙂 You have both guns that I want in my collection. Mine will be vice versa though. .25 cal Matador STD and .22 Cricket. I am currently plinking with the best air rifle out there on the market. Crosman PUMPMASTER 760 :4: Yeah baby! I shot 3 lizards today from a far and afterwards I felt bad for doing it. Damn it, I am going to be a horrible pester. Is there such a thing as an EMO hunter? That would be me. I’ll stick to paper and boring targets. I guess after having a kid, you look at life differently.
What are you talking about me being a posting machine? I am still in my low 100’s nothing compared to these other geezers lol. Just kidding, I work from home just like the other Posting Machine (SECODA). My personal laptop is always on TAG’s Bullpup forum. My emails come through my cellphone and tells me when someone posted a comment. Sadly I’ve subscribed to most of the threads in this forum. So I get notification ASAP.
