Bullpup owners – About us
Hey guys, I’ve been on this forum as you know almost 24/7 hahhaha. I really enjoy interacting with everyone especially on a topic/hobby that I love as a kid and was recently re-ignited. I find myself going full speed into it and learning as much as I can of a world I never knew existed. Thanks to the inter-nerd(internet) we’ve been able to connect with so many like minded people around the world. I thank all the non-english speaking members who are trying their hardest to contribute through a translator. Even on topics not related to air guns, I am always interested in learning about where people are from and their cultures. So this thread is to try to get to know some of you guys a little better rather than your screen names. I personally like to address people by their first name rather than their screen name like Rocketlauncher lol, that is just an example by the way. I would understand if you do not feel comfortable with it, feel free to browse through 🙂

Below is a picture of my backyard. Not the biggest but big enough for us. Behind the white fence is a large conservation area. I’ve seen rabbits, squirrels, snakes and bobcats back there when I remove a section of it to access the back.
My other interest is gardening, we have over 20 fruit trees in the back. Mangos, pappya, grape fruit, blue berry, peach, and persimmons just to name a few.

And of course my little family. My wife is Mexican, I am Vietnamese so I guess that makes my son Filipino?

A Cirrus 22? Nice, fast, and expensive. :8: I am a 500 hour pilot but can only afford a very used Cessna 172 or maybe a Piper Archer. I had a little homebuilt Sport Pilot plane I just sold but need something over 120 MPH.
I found a couple of pics taken before the accident when i was still standing on my feet. The first one is taken exactly one week before the accident. A friend of mine has his own little plane you can see on the background. We landed at a little airport in Gaildorf on our way to see one of the final Motocross GP´s for the season and i had this T-shirt on me. The airport personnel weren´t in a very humorous mood and said they´d call a “Polizei” if i didn´t change my T-shirt immediately. I wonder why…
We took a Taxi from the AP to the MX track and the Cab driver – who was originally from Serbia – wanted to buy that T-shirt from me so it ended up somewhere in Germany at the end.
The second pic is me at my parents house in Finland making sandwitches before a Bear hunt. Those days, at 6´3″/245 lbs i was able to wrestle down a Bear if needed – now i can roll over ones paws and while it jumps around in pain i can shoot it! :1:
hi ,im steve live in a shit hole called the uk,ex full time deer fox and rabbit controller,i run a few hunting trips for clients to germany to hunt wild boar now and again,been around airguns all my life ,im 49 now,,played with pcps since they first came out,and thanks to sir ville my cricket is on its way to germany from where i wll company i bought t from wasnt to crazy about shipping to england,my reason for getting into bullpups is actually health reasons,as my shoulders neck and back are screwed up,so need something light and short ,my last highpower pcp was an rws 500 22cal,fitted with a lothar walther 23 inch barrel wth a long carbon shroud/moderator,it weighed all up with scope 13 and half pounds,so there ya go

Here we are in Eid al Duha,,,, we hav four days off for this Eid…. we are usually dressing our original closes and visiting our relatives and neighbors….. So, here is my sweet/lovely wife and my daughter (as i mentioned i have a twins, but my son was sleep), also my lovely Edgun….

Well I tried avoiding the purse section but before I could steer us clear she asked if she could “look”….so it was downhill from there.
First mistake was setting foot into Macy’s! They have great sales and I always leave with something. This past weekend we watched World War Z with Brad Pitt in it. During the movie she asked me what would you do if this happened (People being attacked by zombies). I told her not much I could do without a real gun. We could run but eventually they’ll catch us. Not that we will ever see zombies but the possibility of complete chaos is always possible. She’s totally against guns but I added, if something ever happens, we have to be able to protect our son 😛 Keep a long story short, she’s ok with me purchasing a real gun/rifle now. Thank you Brad Pitt!

Beautiful family Matt! Sounds like you’re definitely enjoying life with all the hobbies. Good luck with college, one advice, if you’re not doing one already but during your junior and senior year try to get your foot in the door with a summer internship or CO-OP. At the career center in your school they will usually announce when recruiters will be around. With the tough economy right now, it helps to graduate with experience. I intern for my company during my junior year. It started off as a summer internship then they hired me as a tempt with very flexible hrs during my senior year. After graduation they hired me full-time. 12 yrs later I am still with the company 🙂 A lot of my classmates who did internships as well were also hired full-time after graduation. The ones that didn’t do an internship landed jobs that were not in their field. Basically they took whatever they could get after graduation.
So about me well names Matt and I’m a asshole thats addicted to airguns. I grew up in New York near the Ashokan Reservoir where my closest neighbor was 7 miles away (and everybody thinks of the city when you hear NY), well after 6 years as a Army Ranger 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment I got out on a medical and moved to sunny (wish it would fall in the ocean) California to be near my wifes family. We now have 2 girls (twins) and are lucky enough to live in a small community called Fallbrook where I’m attending college full time for a business management degree. We have 2 Danes (horses we keep calling dogs) and enjoy kayaking, deep sea fishing, spear fishing and going for a ride on my Harleys. (Man this is starting to sound like a dating site)

Yeah,this guy is loaded. He actually imported the plane from Arizona or somewhere around and hired a guy who flew it to Sweden (via Canada,Iceland etc.) and then took a regular flight back to US. The plane was still far cheaper than buying it from Sweden. Weird …
