Q:

Bullpup owners – About us

Hey guys, I’ve been on this forum as you know almost 24/7 hahhaha. I really enjoy interacting with everyone especially on a topic/hobby that I love as a kid and was recently re-ignited. I find myself going full speed into it and learning as much as I can of a world I never knew existed. Thanks to the inter-nerd(internet) we’ve been able to connect with so many like minded people around the world. I thank all the non-english speaking members who are trying their hardest to contribute through a translator. Even on topics not related to air guns, I am always interested in learning about where people are from and their cultures. So this thread is to try to get to know some of you guys a little better rather than your screen names. I personally like to address people by their first name rather than their screen name like Rocketlauncher lol, that is just an example by the way. I would understand if you do not feel comfortable with it, feel free to browse through πŸ™‚

I’ll start with a little info about myself:

First Name: Donny
Location: Orlando, Florida
Occupaton: Web designer

Below is a picture of my backyard. Not the biggest but big enough for us. Behind the white fence is a large conservation area. I’ve seen rabbits, squirrels, snakes and bobcats back there when I remove a section of it to access the back.

My other interest is gardening, we have over 20 fruit trees in the back. Mangos, pappya, grape fruit, blue berry, peach, and persimmons just to name a few.

My dad and I building a trellis for our butternut squash

And of course my little family. My wife is Mexican, I am Vietnamese so I guess that makes my son Filipino?

Edit** My other son Kane(pitbull)

I don’t remember who it was but they posted a link to the history of Ed’s PCP a while back. Luckily, I booked marked it πŸ™‚

Here is the link if you’re interested in reading. Has pictures too.

Thanks! HeΒ΄s nine years old but you canΒ΄t see that – he looks a lot younger and thinks heΒ΄s still at Puppy stage. Neither he nor his sister (we have her too) has never had any problems nor diseases of any kind. Except that both are crazy clowns.
I try my best to train Γ…ke to bite Dr. Evil in the ass next time he comes for a visit. IΒ΄ll post the results here after .. 😯

Thanks for the support Ville, Ake looks flawless. No skin allergies as what they are known for? Both of mine have them but not as severe as some I’ve seen. They have their seasonal moments.

quote Sir Ville:

Just to piss off that Bozo whoΒ΄s complained to Donny (the thread starter) about this thread iΒ΄ll add a picture of my dumb dog. His name is Γ…ke (pronounced something like “Okey”) and heΒ΄s the nicest Pitbull ever – if youΒ΄re not a Cat or another Dog.

IΒ΄ll wait untill i get a good pic of his (the Dog) ass and put it here – as a special treat for that same numbnut…

I was expecting two large Cain Corsos or something but two little rats lol!!!! Just kidding, I have to be honest though I am not a big fan of Chihuahuas. They always try to start fights with my dogs when I take them out for a walk. Then again I was not into pit bulls or dogs in general until I owned them. There’s a dog for every man and I know if I somehow landed two Chihuahuas, I would fall in love with them too.

quote xbangu:

I do have 2 dogs as well, supreme watch dogs and pick up every movements in the house. I used to hated theses dogs, but now I loves them, very smart as well.

I guess it’s my turn now. Born and raised in the motherland of VN until the age of 8yrs. Married to a Malaysian born VN wife and we have 3 little princesses. Presently we are in Houston, TX and working as a FSE in the medical field.

Just assume everything you do worldwide is being recorded, act accordingly, and you will be okay. 😯 I have been involved with cyber-security for years in my job and personally use a few services as safeguards (I have seen a few cyber thugs get nabbed). Various “attacks” have become a way of life if you don’t want to operate in a bubble or off the grid as some choose. My biggest fear is the government rebroadcasting the information they collect (ask me how I know). For example, If your a pilot in the US, the government publishes information about you all over the place and countries like the Congo and Nigeria have a field day with it. Malicious use is so common that it is expected. I have actually received inadvertent shipments from the Congo because they were using my name and address secured from the online FAA database. If you’re prepared for some type of theft then it typically isn’t a big deal. If not it could be a big problem. I just assume someone is always going to try to pull something – cyber or otherwise.

quote donnyfl:

So if I buy a 2k gun I have to give her 1k to spend on whatever she wants.

I guess I should chime in.
I’m 42. Married to an amazing woman who is my best friend.
Work hard ALOT and hopefully soon to have my own business running full time so I can have just two jobs. Full time work,my business part time and family farm part time keep me busy. I also hunt and play hard. Camping and offroading(sand duning) for many yrs although I sold my sand rail couple yrs ago to get my business ramped up. I miss that car but hunting helps. πŸ™‚
I’m an avid bow hunter and tournament archer-Bow Hunter Free Style=BHFS, (A class) shooter and have won quite a few
events. Recently won my class at San Francisco 1million BC 3D shoot.
Kid free by choice. I do have an amazing dog (my boy) a Belgian Malinios and a funny but psycho little girl,a Tortiouse shell cat. She’s feral but we got her when she was a couple weeks old and only knows us and her dog. She is extremely social like a dog. Both love to see what I shoot.
Always been into airguns but about two yrs ago got into PCPs and my first was my Edgun 22. Then the 25. They are
Addicting and amazingly fun to shoot.

It takes a sick mind to put a picture collage together of your life and have it make total sense….great job

That was an awesome post Hoot :8: The cartoons definitely show the dry humor in you. You’re old but still witty, always a good sign. Congrats on the 45 yrs of marriage. As much as we complain about them, our wives are our partners in crime. I’ve been married for close to 3 yrs but been together for almost a decade. Amazing how fast time flies. Still laughing at the comic with the guy shitting in the pot. I won’t go down that easy either hahahaha.

Thanks Hoot

My name is H 😯 😯 t ……and I am an asshole by profession.

I enjoy sick humor:

I learned to ride a motorcycle at an early age, naked. I rode the BSA, Triumph, Zumdap, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and my revered BMW 1100:

I’ve had negative interactions with the creatures of nature, now I kill them:

I have been a political activist:

I’ve beem married for 45 years, and learned how to effectively and gracefully interact with unfriendly elements:

Prior to marriage, I had learned to interact quickly, and with tact, in my relationships with women:

I have aged gracefully:

I know my time on Earth is limited…perhaps not limited enough….

I have learned sarcasm is effective when dealing with stupidity:

I know that I am outnumbered by my enemies:

I have learned revenge may be fatal, but well worth the price:

I have chosen my tombstone:

I now know we must all learn to accept the shit that inevitably pops up in our lives:

[b]Having said that…the last message on my tombstone shall read as follows: “All ya’ all…are FUCKED!!!” and this is why:

Don’t worry one bit about it, once my kids became teenagers I became a killing machine again. πŸ˜› Always remember, guns don’t kill people, dads with daughters do. (I have the t-shirt)

quote donnyfl:

Glad you came out of your shell and posted Bruce πŸ™‚ You have both guns that I want in my collection. Mine will be vice versa though. .25 cal Matador STD and .22 Cricket. I am currently plinking with the best air rifle out there on the market. Crosman PUMPMASTER 760 :4: Yeah baby! I shot 3 lizards today from a far and afterwards I felt bad for doing it. Damn it, I am going to be a horrible pester. Is there such a thing as an EMO hunter? That would be me. I’ll stick to paper and boring targets. I guess after having a kid, you look at life differently.

What are you talking about me being a posting machine? I am still in my low 100’s nothing compared to these other geezers lol. Just kidding, I work from home just like the other Posting Machine (SECODA). My personal laptop is always on TAG’s Bullpup forum. My emails come through my cellphone and tells me when someone posted a comment. Sadly I’ve subscribed to most of the threads in this forum. So I get notification ASAP.

Thanks again for your post Bruce πŸ™‚
