I’ll do a 2,900psi fill tomorrow with a long shot string
Might not be as powerful but, the accuracy and the quietness
of the Condor with the Talon tank is what I was looking for….
The shots from the Talon tank were much tighter than the
Condor high flow.
Easy 5 shot one hole groups at 25yds with the Talon tank.
I’ll be trying the 65yd shot tomorrow.
It took 25 pump strokes to refill the Talon tank and 45
pump strokes to refill the High flow tank.
I am again impressed with this rifle…

Thanks for letting me know about the ports. I didn’t think about that at all. I am new at PCP air rifles and I’m sure I have alot to learn. Anyways, bottle #1 port seems to be 3/16″ inside dia. And bottle #2 seems to be 1/8″ inside dia. I see the set screws you are talking about. I think for right now I will just experiment with the power wheels until I learn more. Thanks for the input.

They may have sent you a micro tank as well . If all else fails and you do not have a invoice with part numbers . Give them a call and their records should state what they sent you . Marvin

If you have a set of feeler gauges you can check that…From the
brass face of the valve to the underside of the Top Hat should be
the same for both. About .85″.90″…It looks to me that the Top Hat
on bottle #2 is set closer to the valve face than bottle #1….Also
look at how far each bottle screws into the gun….We are talking
about thousandths of an inch at this point so measurements have
to be very accurate….If one bottle screws in futher than the other
then one Top Hat will be closer to the breech than the other causing
a differential in fps per bottle….
If all of this is too much…Try either adding some Power Wheel with
bottle 2 or lowering the Power wheel with bottle 1 so that you get
the same fps with each bottle….The ultimate solution would be to
adjust the Top Hats until they are shooting the same fps….
Hope you guys can see the stats that I just put on the previous thread. Some how the numbers were crammed in when I submitted the post. My question is. I guess I received 2 different air bottles a high flow tank and a low flow correct? I am trying to understand all of this. I’m still considered a Newbie. Can someone give me some input? Thanks. Jim 😕

I’ve had my condor for about a month now which I ordered the whole Condor package deal from Pyrmid Air. I received 2 air bottles 24″ barrel, and a 12″ barrel plus some other accessories along with a chronograph. Here are some numbers I got with the 2 tanks that came with the condor.
Tank # 1
five shots with crow magnum with 12″ barrel .22 cal, power wheel set at 8
and 2900 psi in bottle.

Tony…Look what I set up today…….Now I have all the info for holdover/under….I set it up from 15yds out to 65……
Check this out….Man this thing is getting better and better…I am thinking that the polishing might have done some good…..
Just a quick thought – have you tried graphite powder (dry lube)? It’s pretty easy to get; it’s used to lube locks, among other things.
I have used the power before…It is just a little messy
for the lubrication it provides. There is some stuff out
now called ONE SHOT. It comes in an aerosol can. Goes
on wet and drys to a very fine lubricating residue. No oil
and no odor…It is for cleaning and lubing firearms…I
probably should have tried that first but the grease is in
the frame……
Well I tore the whole thing apart and polished the inside
of the frame where the hammer slides.. I used Valve
grinding compound to polish it. I tried it out and didn’t like the
way it felt dry so I put silicon grease on the od of the hammer
and that did the trick….Seems to be sliding smooth as silk…..
It was pretty consistant yesterday with no noticable
hammer hangups so I think I have done all I know how to do…..
Now the fun part….Testing….It usually take about 500 or so
shots before I reeeeeally know if it worked or not..Might take
allllll day…..lol…

Sounds like you have a high flow and a regular tank….I think using the power wheel is your best bet…Once you get a feel for the gun and start to figure out how it works, you will be able to start changing things to make the gun work the way you want it to….When the time comes, the gun is versitile enough to set up exactly they way you will want it to be……
