I’ll do a 2,900psi fill tomorrow with a long shot string
Might not be as powerful but, the accuracy and the quietness
of the Condor with the Talon tank is what I was looking for….
The shots from the Talon tank were much tighter than the
Condor high flow.
Easy 5 shot one hole groups at 25yds with the Talon tank.
I’ll be trying the 65yd shot tomorrow.
It took 25 pump strokes to refill the Talon tank and 45
pump strokes to refill the High flow tank.
I am again impressed with this rifle…

Amazing how the mind works…..My stamina and muscles are getting better. The first day of freehand I think my best was a 4″ group. Makes you never want to try that again…..You need some squirrel head targets…lol
Fact remains YOU CAN do it, lol, I’m a standing earthquake with after tremors when trying to shoot tiny groups…give me a squirrel head and I calm down and shoot pretty darn good!!! 😯 😆

Yea, no big deal…He had the same attitude when I call
him for a QC fitting for my Hill pump…Must have plenty business…

I can’t wait…The 18gr and the co2 fitting will come in Friday…
Will be lots of shooting going on then…..Something really funny..
I think the gun is torqueing when I shoot the Kodiaks and sending
the shot off left….I have to really hung the rifle to print tight groups
with the Kodiaks and the JSB’s don’t seem to be so hold sensitive….
I am starting to feel the intricacies and subtle characteristics of the gun…It is really odd….
Like why haven’t I felt that before? Pretty cool….
I guess that comes from shooting a lot…I have gone
through over 3500 pellets since I got my gun at the end of Jan…..

No worries Jeff! It’s amazing how lots of trigger time will make you notice little subtleties about a gun, its shot cycle, how it likes to be held for best accuracy.
Going through all those issues/problem solving probably forced you to concentrate more with a mindset of “what is going wrong here, gotta focus and notice what is or isn’t happening when firing it”…hmmm, flyer, what felt different, did I pull the shot and have the crosshairs ending up where the flyer hit, did the bag move right when I pulled the trigger…why did that shot sound soft…I definitely felt more jetting/rearward recoil on that shot…wow, trigger felt like I was draggin the sear across 100grit sand paper or wow, what happened, didn’t feel any first stage or much of a second stage, it kind of pulled through easily and went off unexpectedly…

Looking really good there! I bet you’ll end up getting a nice set of bags or front rest in the near future if you are shooting that tight with a less than optimal rest arrangement!

Some wind but mostly from directly behind….
I can’t be mad at this. I am shooting off of a pad
(could be more stable) instead of a sand bag and
between the little wiggle I am getting from the
pad and a little parallax from not taking a consistant cheek
position I think most of this is me and not the gun….
The Kodiaks are definately in 2nd place…..
JSB Jumbo Exact Heavy pellets will be here Friday…..
More testing and I should have the reg tank by then
too, there will be all sorts of shooting to be done………
to take apart and have a looksy!!!
