Q:

Condor Valves

Well it is finally happening. I know some of you have been waiting patiently for one. Second piece is there and waiting for a machine to become available.

Put them all in the lathe to scotch brite the threads. will put the hole for the VRT and then off to black oxide.

I went to the ETAC very early in my AF craze, I got the right hand drop one and never looked back to the original set up. I eventually went to a angled tank adapter, which was better for me, Tofazfou is right, having to take the bottle off to fill it is a pain in the ass.

The long ETAC is better than the short one, you can still unscrew the long one to work on the gun, the short one you have to remove the tank by accessing the collar set screws in the frame, which is a bigger pain in the ass than a tank you have to remove to fill.

Mike,

That’s exactly why i LOVE the Etac/Valve Extension, when you add a quick fill nipple, you DON’T have to remove the bottle to refill. That was just about the number one pain in my ass about the AIRFORCE guns. HAVING TO REMOVE THAT BOTTLE EVERY 15-30 shots…….ARRRGH!

But the bottle can still be removed to be “TAKE DOWN” friendly for transporting..etc..etc.

Yep, way too hot for a reg. no doubt. and what you say makes good sense, “IF” I had more than one bottle. 😆 I was thinking of the length of pull, -VS- the etac.

Would be good to really be able to lock the bottle down and not remove it for filling. Not to mention, possible tether shooting in the distant future. 😉

Thanks 80 G.

Behind the valve is just a adapter that lets you fill and have a gauge but will still unscrew from the gun.

Other wise know as a etac that Jim Gaska makes.

This one I made as short as possible and still unscrew.

Sure looks like it would work better for oal made short like this compared to the eTac!

Mike, you know that when making this kind of power regulation is counterproductive. Also, with the “e tac” extension you can unscrew your bottle in the field and put another one on…without the extension to remove your bottle you would have to remove the fill nipple and gauge as it won’t clear the frame when turning.

looks awesome Doug. Glad things are moving along! Can’t wait to try her out! 😀

Looks so great that waiting for my .308 setup feels eternity 😀

Nice!!!

I need a reg!!!!! Well, what I really need is a bunch of money so I can talk REAL sweet to Doug.

Doug, what is that behind the valve on Joe’s setup. some kind of reg? Those valves are 😯 !!!

Looking good!!!

There are going to be some happy peoples when these things ship! 😀

Got the valve bodies back today. They are nice and black. This is Joe’s .257 setup and my .257 valve.

Tagdagger wanted to use his spin lock so I did this for him. Now he has to choose .257 or .308.

Also did a muzzle brake for the .257’s

Stems are almost done and then I have to take back the stem retainer and have them cut the inside o ring grove. Just going to take me to long to do them. Hopefully I will have .25’s by the end of the month and then .257 and .308.

“Are we there yet?” ….. ❓ ❓ ❓

😎

Dayotat I sent you a PM requsting your sugestions, please check it.
