Q:

Edgun Leshiy .25cal super tune

Ive spent a bit of time on my new Leshiy this week and have refined it to my liking..
While the 350mm barrels and shroud extensions are available for higher velocities I wanted to keep mine compact and light as it was designed to be.. this comes with the compromise of the shorter 250mm barrel which produces lower velocities or less shot count.

This is the typical performance you can expect from a .25cal Leshiy with 25.4gr kings:

250mm barrel: 12-13 shots at 760fps
350mm barrel kit: 12-13 shots at 810fps

Thats not bad but I devised a plan to get a little more from mine without the long extension and also make it quieter than the std Leshiy…

25.4gr JSB kings get 18 shots at 800fps 36ftlbs!

Want more speed? 6 shots at 925fps 48lbs

Want more shots? 25 shots at 700fps

Want 12ftlbs? 39 shots at 460fps 11.9fps

Want a better trigger with a predictable break? … Yea me too… give me some more time on that one…

The same tune in a .22 or .177cal will be just as impressive..
All this performance in this short little setup..

I will explain the mods in a tuning video soon…

I have ordered the regulator from Huma-air.com now.
Can`t wait to get it 🙂 From Netherland to Norway should not take too long I hope.

It took 2 days to Sweden from the “sent” notification 😛

Can someone help me with a link where to buy that regulator?

I am going to do some testing soon with the reg to specifically shoot 10.34 Jsb’s. It is currently set at 110bar and with zero preset Hsta it shoots at 612fps and with +10 CCW Hsta it plateaus at 820 fps. My goal for the gun is to be able to achieve 700fps with zero Hsta and being capable to dial it to 885fps.

Thank you 🙂
What pressure is recommended for say .25? I use both .177 and .25 but I believe I have to set it to different pressure for the two calibers?

The link to the ‘sticky’ should be here..

It’s around the 110 bar mark for best results on a .25 if I remember correctly, the other cals (.177, .20, .22) haven’t really been investigated to the same degree as far as I’m aware.

Hope this helps,

The Cad

Yes same reg for the Gen two.. the gen two has a little more valve spring tention to work better with a 130bar setting but the Huma reg has a larger plenum and compresses the valve spring a little more so works the same in both gen Leshiys at 110bar.
Depending on your tune it will give you 18 to 20% more shots per fill

Ok, so the reg from Huma shoud do even with a second gen.

Shooter, the changes are to the safety, hammer, hammer spring well. This was to address concerns for cold weather hunting and how hard the safety was to push.

There’s more than one generation? What changed? I did see that the factory regulator pressure was changed after the first batch, but I didn’t think that the hardware changed.

I wonder if it fits a second generation Leshiy. Wingman, Keyser?

Recieved mine today

hum ……. Okay then ..I see ………. hope Ed considers this and puts out this new sear ?

Again WingMan, Incredible impeccable work Sir ! :8:

Thank You ~ Greg
