I have a little registry going with 7 longs found and 4 Std.’s, all identified as to their owners and 3 more guns with their owners but don’t know which gun they own. I think it would be neat to try and find all Edguns in the States and form a registry, just for fun I guess. How many have been imported in total as far as we know.
Oh thats right. It is milled down. I dont know what I was thinking.
This flu really kicking my ass. Calling in sick today and tomorrow. I can barely walk. Nasty shit! splitting headache and feels like I was hit by freight train.
Yep. 10 of each. I am trying to convince a guy to buy F&D’s Standard 30 for hunting but his wife has other ideas. 😕 He shot mine today and fell in love.
I did see that but for 3 extra dollars it give options if someone on here is close with a -008 70, that maybe I could send a couple for a try. I was also thinking the Viton was tougher and might offer longer life if all was the same on the fit.
The ones I am using are not any harder than the 70s. I hope the grooves are all the same from gun to gun. 🙂
I am lucky with no perceivable leaking but I needed some o-ring lube and decided to get some of the, recommended Dow 55 an i ordered a bag of 008’s in 70, 90 , and viton just in case and they are so cheap. I got a new Pick for removal tool to keep in the shop while at it.
As a TAG forum .30 cal. fun fact I have been making a list, this evening and found 14 of the 20, 30’s and who has them and who has what lengths on 11 of the 14 in our TAG Bullpup section group so far. Only 6 stragglers I think remain. There was 10 of each right ?? or was it 20 of each ??

Out of curiosity I went and just pulled the bolt back and with out measuring It sure looks like the orings in the grooves sit identically. The 008s fit perfectly with no bulging or looseness. When the bolt closes it just snugs in at the end. I’ll measure the grooves tomorrow.
Thanks Ted….,, I’ll have to pull it out and make a print…
Ride, the front end of the 30 cal regulator is a smaller OD than the 22 and 25 regulator. I don’t think that a 30 cal reg would seal in a reg setting tool made for a 25 reg.
I think using the harder orings (90s) could be aggravating the problem then.
O.k., that’s exactly what mine is, and it is consistent with Wingman’s comment that it should be a taper fit, so maybe that’s that is intended. But it doesn’t seal properly with the o-rings that came installed. More o-rings coming tomorrow, maybe I’ll find the perfect fit for mine.
Regulator itself is the same, but there an additional spacer added inline to increase regulated pressure space.
Has anyone determined if the regulator is for sure larger on the 30’s or if it is just something done internally ?? I ask O.G. but not heard yet. I have not dug into mine that far yet, thinking of having Ernest make me one of his reg setters for this gun too.

We did that with Crickets and included serial numbers. Some folks won’t give anything that is remotely identifying.
you might get city, state, model/caliber, serial #.
