Q:

fixing shroud

I need to shift or move my shroud to the right about the 1/4 inch. I’m wondering if could just warm or heat up back of shroud and try to move it that way.
I’m not sure how these are built so I could have it all wrong to begin with. Could I get the back end hot enough to get the front to move over a bit to get it to stop clipping.

OK I replaced scope with Hawke SW (which was on the gun before) and went and zeroed it yesterday late afternoon.
Went and rechecked zero this afternoon and this is what i got at 72 yards. This is shooting from truck with no bipod or anything. Just a small breeze not much.
Knock on wood

Your right again eelect. Only shot a few sparrows out the front window. Going down to zero tonight so there won’t be much shooting Wed. This really sucks…… 🙁

Ya Zonk but you don’t have anything to shoot at that’s worth talking about!!!

I’m sitting in my living room shooting out the front window. Nice and warm in here.

It’s funny how slowly they hit the ground compared to when 22 hits them.

To cold here to just walk around and shoot. I’ll sit in my truck with the heater on and cricket on my lap till ready to shoot.

I fill with nitrogen too

I actually don’t know how much air pressure drops when it cools off. I just shoot till 4 clips are empty and usually have enough air when I fill to 230 bar when it’s warm. My cf bottle is in the truck and usually keeps warm

Only reason I noticed it is on a recent trip out to my deer hunting property I took my Cricket with me and filled it to 230 bar (inside the camp), then went out with it next morning… took it on stand with me while I bow hunted for deer in case a coon or squirrel showed up… was just sitting passing time and looked at my gauge… 210 bar! and I hadn’t fired a shot! I panicked, thought I had a leak… After that sit (no shot at deer with bow or anything with the cricket), I returned to camp for breakfast… intended to start to look for the leak after we ate… took the gun off the rifle rack in camp, right back at 230 bar! Then I realized what had happened. Since then I just monitor it to see what effect the outside temp has on the charge pressure. It was more than I thought. Don’t know yet if it matters, but I’m charging with nitrogen, not air.

Dang guys, I thought 39F was cold for me this past weekend! (Southeast Texas)… I filled up my cricket in the house to 230 bar, and after walking around a bit outside, I had dropped to 200 bar… Can’t imagine what y’all’s super cold temps would do to the gas you shoot with! I suppose you’d have to be careful of that if you filled to 230 or more bar in the cold, then went inside to a warm house… or even car for that matter… probably rough on CF tanks too huh?

it’s been below zero last several days. Today 30 degrees going back down to zero tonight.

eelect, heading over to cattle barn now. We got 6″ of fresh snow last night so the birds should be thick with all the corn to eat.

How cold is it. I’m envious
