HB indexing issue/CLOSED
I think some word from Kalibrgun concerning the indexing issue of the Colibri/Hummingbird would be welcome by HB customers. I don’t want to think our dealers have to go it alone (left holding the bag?) on this issue. So, where is Kalibrgun on this matter? It makes the product. Some word about the company’s position can’t be too much to expect. Can it? I’m sure I’ve just missed where Kalibrgun chimed in.

Perhaps uncle is talking about Drozd Blackbird, full auto BB fun gun. Mine does 240 fpe / second 🙂
I Google it…….. Nada!
You off you meds again coot ?
Well now….I didn’t say Blackturd, did I ???
If you haven’t heard about the Kalibrgun “Blackbird” then you, ‘Pecker, are not “in the know” and that’s almost as bad as having “MICRO-NUTS”!
Do some research before you bother me again about this…(hint: release date three weeks)
Hoot:
Blackbird ???????
.
AND FURTHERMORE, YOU FLEA-RIDDEN, DISEASED, GERBIL TWAT…..
Soon…sooner than you think, you will be crushed to see the new Kalibrgun “Blackbird“!!! Then you will eat your words, and your chickpea testicles will further shrink to equal those of the Swedish Viper’s “Micro-nuts”!
Again,
Uncle Hoot:
HEY!!! PIMP-O…
I was aborted as an infant, and I resemble your nasty comment about other abortees!!! May your already shriveled testicles, shrink to the size of chickpeas.
Furthermore…you didn’t put a ‘comma’ after the word “abortion”, thus further displaying your ignorance!
Kind regards,
Hoot:
A semi-auto that is not a semi-auto and apparently even has cycling problems? You have to send it to Ernest to make it work half-way?
Throwing money out of the window is a quicker and less painful process.
Now lets suppose one day they succeed to make it work semi-auto, how are they going to price it? Will they pay compensation to those ones that have paid the full price today and received only not cycling crap?
Kalibrgun should never have released the HB in its current state, they are going to put themselves in the same situation as Ed with his gen-1 MS and only he knows how much his business has suffered for this.

Pippo,
I drank the Colibri Kool-Aid, not because it “used to be” a planned semi-auto, but because it grabbed my attention as unique bull pup among bull pups. Semi-auto was not part of my decision making to buy. Anyone who has handled the HB will appreciate it’s handiness, easy pointing, and cocking while maintaining a good sight picture without it being supported except to be cradled in one’s shoulder. It met my desires on several levels. For a 200cc air reservoir one could expect 42 shots at 30+ fpe. The CZ barrel, shrouded. One can hold it easily with one hand while cocking with the other.
Who knew it would have the design flaw it has? It’s on Kalibrgun that this Colibri was not ready for prime time. I just read on the Yellow that one guy had issues with his new Cricket not cocking, only to find it had NO HAMMER SPRING! Is this buyer’s dilemma any easier to understand? So you may call the Colibri an abortion, and some (buyers) might agree with you on that point. But what if it had no issues, and met buyer expectations? You impugn the decision-making of people who put down their hard-earned money re: “I don’t understand the people who bought it”. It’s as if to infer that they had 20/20 foresight, saw the problem beforehand and bought the gun anyway. Your comment does not do the buyers any justice and can in no way be looked upon as a fair assessment of the buyers. Some might think it a cheap shot at the buyers. What did they (we) ever do to you to steer you to think and post such an negative sentiment anyway? Maybe that’s not how you meant it, but it doesn’t sit well. Understand?

Well put, Pippo !
Well while I think that Kalibrgun did the best bullpup up to date, the Cricket Compact (just MHO), at the same time I think the HB is simply an “abortion” and I don’t understand people who bought it.

Dears All (specially our Dearest Uncle Hoot),
I’m sorry but apparently you got my comment wrong.
Me (probably first of all) would love to have a HB but I mean a perfectly working HB, it’s on my list since a long time now. (I have postponed several purchases waiting for the HB).
I loved Matadors (except the trigger) but when the gen-1 MS came out it was a huge disappointment and sorry to say that I don’t see big improvement in the gen-2 either. Ever since I became very suspicious and very cautious before spending my hard earned money on “new project/design” airguns.
Well I think you can’t deny that the Colibri/HB is under design/developement/testing/design/developement/testing/….. already since a long time now (several years) and comments have never been completely positive. That it still doesn’t work perfectly isn’t a surprise to me, I never read a comment on the net about a perfectly working gun and apparently the reality is reflecting the rumors.
What if it would have worked? Well I would have bought one.
There was no intention to be negative on customers in my comment (except their lack of prudence due to being impatient to have this supposedly wonderful new tool, I know how it is, I have been there several times), the “negativity” is on Kalibrgun for releasing a product that was not ready for the market and an advise to fix the issues as soon as possible because once customers confidence is gone then it’s gone.
The matador was a 2000 USD selling gun with 12 months of waiting list, today apparently they are ready for instant shipment but they can’t get rid of them even with a sales action. What could be the reason for this? Well read the TAG….
