HB indexing issue/CLOSED
I think some word from Kalibrgun concerning the indexing issue of the Colibri/Hummingbird would be welcome by HB customers. I don’t want to think our dealers have to go it alone (left holding the bag?) on this issue. So, where is Kalibrgun on this matter? It makes the product. Some word about the company’s position can’t be too much to expect. Can it? I’m sure I’ve just missed where Kalibrgun chimed in.

Yes, I would think that KB is some what still stuck on the True Semi Auto design after seeing their bird cycling.
Must be a sight to see and a hard press in going back to the old plans …….. ….. yet ?
Just my :2cents:

Who knows. Or maybe they want to gather all available info on all eventual fixes for dilemmas haunting the Hummer. Like said , who knows ..
I wonder if KalibrGun may have given up on the the Hummigbird redesign if they are so interested in customer fixes.
ATM is right.
Wrath goes up with each dollar spent. That goes for any brand, any product.
Did I mention anything about the Hummingbird indexing fix? Why, yes…yes I did!!!

So Kalibrgun wants to know more about the fix? I hope it finds a way to enable the post-fix double-loading too. After all, though it may not be an issue for some, it’s a paid-for feature being disabled to fix another paid-for feature. Maybe Ernest’s creative solution will inspire the manufacturer to improve the design? I think it owes that to it’s customer base. Failure to offer a manufacturer’s solution might be dimly viewed by future prospective buyers who’ll no doubt read these forum posts (and others?)to learn about the marque.

Once cutomer’s confidence is lost then it’s lost and this stands for everybody (Kalibrgun, FX, Edguns, etc…)
But if confidence is lost several times then it becomes some kind of “strong feelings”…
I understand Ville’s feelings…. (but actually this should be posted in the edgun section)….

:nono: You boys play nice now.
So you know the truth ? I’m sorry. I tried to photograph my Wife but much like a Witch or Vampire she can’t be seen on those photos. I was forced to send you something , according our deal , so i just took some pics of a couple of Hookers hanging around our palatial Residence. I’m truly sorry but also relieved since you now know the truth. I haven’t been able to sleep properly due the quilty conscience.

Take two Midol, change your Tampon, and PM me in the morning if you don’t feel better!
Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:
PS: Those pictures I asked you to send me of your wife, naked, were not your wife, were they? You got them off the internet! After all I’ve done for you…this is the thanks I get???
Ville…You sold all your Edguns. Dealer bashing is a total waste of time.
In the meanwhile…back on topic:
The magnetic magazine advance is unreliable, with a easy fix by installing a EXTENSION SPRING and by doing so the parts on the photo is no longer needed. with this spring mod it will rotate the mag and advance a pellet every time its cock fired or not so it will double load when you improperly de- cock. lets wait and see what they think and maybe help them with a better FIX.
I believe Kalibrgun is stupid if they don’t follow Ernest’s idea. Double loading has never been an issue of real concern. If you double load, shoot it and try again.

You’re right. It changes nothing. He’ll never change to the better. I just get pissed every time i get reminded about those worthless, expensive POS of guns.
And KG sure should take notice since that’s one solution to an existing problem.
Wrong interpetation of my words, I say that to those who is just GOING to buy my guns but have some doubts about it, reading some bullshit on forums. For those who bought my guns I always tries to find the solution in case some problem appears.
Ed, your reply is certainly a welcome one. I’m looking at the R3M as my next attempt at Bull pup goodness. I like that Io can work on it myself, though I’d rather not have to. I just want to point, and shoot it. I hope I can snag a gen-2 R3m being as the single-shot is no longer available as new. Keep up the good work. please!

His terms ? BS i say. That´s not what is said when the gun is sold to you. No other manufacturer – at anything – has as pompous and arrogant customer service.Imagine that you buy a new Car. The engine blows up at 1000 miles. You want this to be fixed thru warranty , but the manufacturer says : ” I’ll fix the problem, but on my timeframe, and on my terms “. After four months waiting time you´ll get a new engine – vastly inferior to the original engine but an engine nevertheless.
In the meantime you´re forced to buy another Car so you can move from point A to point B. That one too has problems from the get-go. The manufacturer just dodges his responsibility and doesn´t answer the phone. What a load of crap !
If Ed said those things before he sells the gun that would be OK. Unfortunately the cold reality bites you first when you run into troubles with your new gun.
This may sound strange, I agree with Ville, but I understand Ed’s position too!
Ville had a valid complaint, of that there is no doubt.
Ed runs a one man operation, makes the guns the way HE pleases, and is willing to sell them to the public, as long as they understand it’s on HIS terms!
His terms are very simple, if it doesn’t work, I’ll fix the problem, but on my timeframe, and on my terms. If that is not satisfactory, don’t buy my gun.
There’s the catch…you may own the current model gun, but it’s ED’S design and He, and he alone, will determine what’s to be done to correct any “problems”.
A lot of people, most people, demand “customer service” pamper their needs when they buy a high end product.
That’s not the case with an Edgun. When you buy, you put your trust in one man’s honesty and integrity that he will do the “right thing”.
Not everyone can live with those terms. Those are the ones who shouldn’t buy his guns.
No more from me on this. It’s been discussed before too many times.
