Q:

How is this smooth edge created ?

In the attached image of a tank adapter I can understand the 4 centerlines (red,green,blue,yellow) needed to turn this piece. What I don’t understand is the purple circled area. How is that shaped so nicely to blend with all the other curved surfaces ?

Talking about the elbow, its true what a friend say up.
The time to machining this piece are at least 2 days. And, like time is money i dont think nobody sell it for less than 200 us

Just trying to think outside the box and get the cost down to $100
