Q:

HOW OLD ARE WE???

Hey Guys 😀

I was just sittin here drinking a beer twidling with me belly button (as you do ), thinking about how much of a ‘fringe’ hobby this is. Then i started thinking about how young i was when i first started playing with air rifles. It was the early eighties, i was about 11 or so when i first started playing in the woods with them.

I’m 37 now. I’ve got an air rifle. i go to the woods and play with it.
In 20 years, you’ll find me somewhere, playing with me air rifle.

Roll Call.

Ages please. It can’t be just me whos getting older but still playing… 😕

40 here,,been moding and tinkering since I was in my Teens… Wish we had talons and condors back then….. There would’nt have been a fur or feathered creature left on the farm..

Turned 50 in March. I don’t care, I’m still above ground,and most enemies aren’t ! lol

I’m 17 and I live in Canada which means you gotta be 18 to have an FAC or in other words have a gun that shoots over 500 fps which I don’t have, so i’m stuck with a piece of shit .177 Beeman that can only shoot in the position you sighted it in for, like prone, or it will shoot off.

Hiya Peeps,

I am 41 and have been hunting since I was 6. I have wore out 2 Benjamin’ .177 rifles in my youth. and now I spend my time killin’ every grackle I see…lol Will be obtaining a Talon very soon, as the finances are getting ripe for the pickin 😛

Peace,

37 here (1971).

just found this thread, its great! 😀 I always assume that I am talking to fellow of my ages. but look! some are still kids and some are seniors. well, this hobby doesnt have any boundary. 😀 😀 😀 nice to meet you all. 😀 😀 😀

I had the basic Daisy BB gun ,as a kid in 1969 (I shot every moving thing) not really, but my neighbor accused me of that. I did put that Daisy BB gun to the test though, and it performed good-enough. I started “high power” with Beeman in 1989ish. When I saw the Condor, I bought one! I like the rifles power, I like the other options too. I was born (way to early) 1958

Turned 25 this july! Still going strong!

Cheers

HI guys, Started out shooting a friend’s daisy BB gun at anything that moved. That was when I was about 8, a couple years later I got a Crossman 22 cal. pellet rife and later a Silver Streak Sheridan. At this time I’m 60 but will be 61 on the 30th of this month. Also I’ve upgraded to a Condor 22. 😀

38 years young. Bday is Oct 20 . Started shooting when i was 5 with grandad.

Fourteen here, been shooting airguns since I was five and found a red ryder in the crawlspace…. dad owned the house for 10 years before that and had never seen it before 😯 Mom hated the idea of guns but she has been converted since (She bought a home defense shotgun last week) I own a RWS-350 money pit (innacurate, scope eating weak POS now after only 3k pellets) and I will be purchasing a talon ss as soon as I can raise the money.

First airgun at age 10, the usual for the era, a Daisy Red Ryder. Didn’t get another for 46 years. Have had over 300 in the last 16 years. Guns that I have now are: Diana 75, FWB 300, Logun SOLO, BSA Super Ten, Beeman R8, Slavia 631, Walther Lever Action, Crosman 2300S, Lovena LUV 21, AR2078, QB78, QB79 Daisy 953 and two Talon SS’s. Oh yea! I am 72. VonBrink

Just turned 30-16, but I have no problem hunting the occasional 25 year old chickie. 😆

Funny, but the 25 year old chickies these days don’t look anything like the chickies I knew when I was 25 years old myself. 😆

I’ll be 61 on Oct.30,2008 🙄

I’ll be 45 this month.

I’ve been arround guns since birth, dad loved them.
Hunting is my passion, so I like bowhunting, powder burners and airguns.

New to the forum though. I am planning on buying a Condor and doing some mods to it, so all the help will be very much appreciated.

51 years old and Raquel is now 1 month old and she hits HARD 🙂
