Q:

I have to ask those who waits for EDguns to excuse me…

Tony knocks to my head every second day with the only question “When!?” and the only thing I can say “Have no idea… 🙁 ” The problem is that we have to delivery LW barrels from Germany to Russia, it used to be very smooth and predictable but now, due to some changes in Russian custom work (I hate them more the police 🙁 ) it takes so long. For instance if it took them a week to clear the barrels at the custom before but not about 250 barrels are stuck at the custom for 7 week already 🙁 and I have no idea when they will go out (they promise one more week and then let them out) but I do not believe them any more. So, we expect the second delivery, which is going the other way in a couple of weeks and as soon as we have barrels here I will assemble guns and send them to Tony immediately, so be patient 🙂 (the delivery out of Russia is another headache but that is next stage).

Next year we are very serous about opening the separate enterprise in Europe to make the guns for client out of Russia to avoid dealing with Russian stupid authorities, rules and officials… Keep fingers crossed for us 🙂

Koljo, you are also one sick puppy! You fit right in. 😆

Why is your woman standing like that? Is that a Bulgarian custom???

Are there catfish in Bulgaria? Do you call them “Catfishski”?

No, it’s a particular custom of my house. My woman does it easily since the position is her usual one… when scrubbing the floor, I mean.

Those are the only catfish in Bulgaria:

I can send you a fresh one if you like. And no, they don’t ski. I do, though, harnessing a dozen of the above to pull the rope. You see, I sold my oil wells to buy an Edgun, and now I have to make do with more economical engines 😉

I love you too,

Nikolay

Good! At least there is someone else here that is also suffering from the R3 waiting game!

I don’t know if Tachdriver got to join us or not.

I am on the list for the R3 Long .25 as well =)

Clumsy ox dropped something all over the floor. At least you won’t have to bend over to spank her for being sloppy! Perhaps that is how this strange custom began.

I do indeed pity you…

Do you need a fresh catfish? I can mail you one this Spring, if needed. Are there catfish in Bulgaria? Do you call them “Catfishski”? I’m not very good at language. English is my second language…Silence is my first.

Just a curious mind at work.

Poor ‘Ol Uncle Hoot 😯

Nikolay, are you on the list for the R3 also? I am really looking foreward to April!

I hate waiting for Edguns! 😆

I am indeed, Oldgoat 😀

Spot on. Pablouk!

In fact, I come from the ancient State of Macedonia. Once famous, the territory is now split into 3 chunks, and 3 countries – Greece, Bulgaria and FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) are claiming to be the sole principle of this ‘province” as they call it. Legally I am a Bulgarian citizen, who indeed lived for a considerable period of time in London.

Now I’m spending most of my time at my seaside/mountain property by the Black sea, near the border with Turkey. The area is also very popular with a lot of Ed’s compatriots, who are buying summer houses and apartments by the dozen.

Regards,

Nikolay

Koljo is either English, or has spent a considerable time in the UK.
I know English speak when I hear/read it. 😉

Hi Koljo.

I have broke an air valve on my .25 long also. Ed told us, way before we got them, that the valves would only be good for 7,500-10,000 shots. I don’t have a problem with that. They are not a big deal to change out.

I also had some troubles with the barrel O ring. At first, I would just put a new one in, when I had one start leaking. It just takes a couple of minutes. The original O ring lasted guite a while, the replacements wouldn’t last very long.

I finally realised that something, either than the O ring just wearing out, was causing my troubles. I found that my barrel mounts had slightly rotated out of adjustment. The rear of the barrel was not sitting exactly square square with the transfer port block. I shifted the mounts back into alignment and have not had any O ring issues since then.

It turned out that there wasn’t a barrel O ring issue after all. The issue was the dumbass owner not paying attention to what the hell he was doing!

Oldgoat,

Thanks for the info but I was ready to buy the .25 Matador last November despite being aware of these problems. It was Ed who stopped me transferring the money, obviously in anticipation of the new R3 version.

Nikolay

Nikolay, my friend…

The only thing that makes me wake up in the middle of the night is knowing it is daytime in Russia, and Ed’s workmen might be on break instead of sweating over a hot Edgun!

(Ed…don’t let them get away with going too slow. You are paying them good Rubles and they need to sweat while they work. Just don’t let them drip it on the Edgun!)

Nikolay, as we say here in the South…”Something…it ain’t right!”. You display too much intelligence for a normal male. Your English is perfect. You discern intangible innuendos in my replies, and correctly relate them to relationships. You seem to know when I’m playing games in here.

Possibilities:
1) You are a woman peeking into a hard core, no holds barred, mans forum…and you are welcome here. Here you see us in all our majesty.

2) You are a turkey-necked, 80 year old English teacher living in Fishgut Bay, Florida. Just a fat, ugly, old sow, pretending to be someone else, passing the time until you flip over and croak.

3) Possibly, like Ted in Madison, you work for D.A.R.P.A., and are stationed in Eastern Europe working on a missile defense system in case the midget nut case in North Korea…the “Pidor Peanut”, who, like the little deviate he is, dances and yells to get the attention anyone four feet tall, with a 2″ male appendage, longs for. I would personally enjoy field dressing that tiny fly constantly buzzing around the world’s adults. I’d like to ship that little bastard a toad!

I’m gronna start war! My pee-pee real-re wrong! Two freet wrong! I krill everyone!”

(Did I mention I have attention deficit disorder…)

4) You are a highly educated Eastern European male, who values the company of intelligent women, and respect them as human beings with a will, a soul, valuable input, and worthy companions. But, this isn’t the image the West has of the male dominant societies in Eastern Europe. Granted we here have our fair share of individuals who see women as a life support system for a set of mammary glands.

Did I mention Ed’s men sweating??? Does anyone else have a problem staying focused on a subject?

Anyway, Ed’s men need to be happy and productive in their work, you are one of the above, and Kim Jong-il is living proof for the need for third trimester abortions.

Just my humble opinion…a brief visage into the mind of an ignorant, redneck, Southerner, here in the United States of Obama.

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot 😯

PS: Ed…did I mention keeping the workmen busy putting those Edguns together? Sure would like to know more about the improvements on the changes to the new .25 cailber. Hmmm, I…I can’t remember the original question! Oh well. Time for my herbal remedies for Alzheimer’s.

quote=”Hoot”][
I look at my Edgun and think “I own that! It is the best on the planet and it is mine!”

“The only creation better than a Stealth Edgun would be a beautiful woman who didn’t like to talk!”[/quote]

Dear Hoot,

being so obviously and unashamedly in love with your Edgun is a great feeling. I’ve had one or two love affairs myself and THAT state of mind is more than familiar to me. However, I don’t think the Matador, at least not in the .25 variation, is the best airgun on the planet. Not YET!

I’m sure Ed fully realizes some if it’s shortcomings, pointed out in Naser404’s great post of 12/13/2010, e.g. the weak valve&associated parts, the unreliable barrel o-ring and some other small imperfections. But I am sure he will do his best to remedy all of them in the new R3 variation.

I also agree with you that the other two minor point, mentioned by you, should be dealt with. Although the lack of a multishot magazine doesn’t bother me that much. .25 pellets are not fiddly to load and single-shot rifles tend to be more accurate than multishot ones.

As for your preference of silent women, I rather like mine talking. For the simple reason that a woman’s “silence” might be interpreted by some mickey taking bas**rds as a well concealed unwillingness to disclose her partner’s shortcomings. The analogy with the Edguns here is purely coincidental 😀

Respectfully,

Nikolay
