Q:

I have to ask those who waits for EDguns to excuse me…

Tony knocks to my head every second day with the only question “When!?” and the only thing I can say “Have no idea… πŸ™ ” The problem is that we have to delivery LW barrels from Germany to Russia, it used to be very smooth and predictable but now, due to some changes in Russian custom work (I hate them more the police πŸ™ ) it takes so long. For instance if it took them a week to clear the barrels at the custom before but not about 250 barrels are stuck at the custom for 7 week already πŸ™ and I have no idea when they will go out (they promise one more week and then let them out) but I do not believe them any more. So, we expect the second delivery, which is going the other way in a couple of weeks and as soon as we have barrels here I will assemble guns and send them to Tony immediately, so be patient πŸ™‚ (the delivery out of Russia is another headache but that is next stage).

Next year we are very serous about opening the separate enterprise in Europe to make the guns for client out of Russia to avoid dealing with Russian stupid authorities, rules and officials… Keep fingers crossed for us πŸ™‚

The US is starting to become the same way. The politicans, elected officals and courts here have lost touch with the average citizen.

We voted a lot of them out and the new ones seem, for now at least, to at least listen to the people. We still have a lot more of them to get rid of and a president that will hopefully be thrown out in 2 more years.

I hope things turn around in both of our countries!

Good luck with the other plans, Ed. We are all rooting for ya!

I just can’t understand why customs gives you such a hard time. It seems like they would want to increase buisness and help the local economy.

I hope you get it all straightened out before the R3s are ready to ship!

You do not understand the situation the customs, tax service, the police, the courts, the State itself are not interested in business and economy. There are many people, sitting there, who has a power and the only thing they are interested is money, nothing else. We are leaving in totally corrupted country like somewhere in Africa πŸ™

Unfortunatelly all the previous possible chanels were closed πŸ™ But everything that happens — to the better πŸ™‚ I am working now on the other sheme, that, I hope will allow me to avoid all the problems with the delivery and we would be able to send as many guns abroad, as possible. I need about a week to fulfill it, then I will know what will happen. For now I have more then 60 Matadors packed and ready to be shipped abroad, not taking into consideration Lelyas and Velese.

Last update I had was last week. Shipment was in St.Petersburg and Ed was trying to get them shipped out, but I guess its not easy.

I also got the serial numbers for my Lelya .22 and Veles .177 that are in this shipment.

I hope everything was shipped out and now out of the country of Mother Russia =)

Sorry, I’m acting funny and double posted πŸ˜†

Sorry, TAG is acting funny and it double posted.

Hi Mike! Welcome aboard!

Now you get to play the waiting game. The wait for the first one is pure hell but, unless you have shot some one else’s, you don’t really have a clue just how fine a gun you are waiting for!

The wait for the second Edgun is twice as bad! You already know what to expect!

I have only been waiting about 1 week for my 3rd one and it won’t be shipped till at least March! At least the weather is too nasty to go out shooting.

If it helps, I bought a Royale .22 smooth twist while I was waiting for my .25 long Matador. It is a nice gun. It is also a lot longer than the standard Matador. I made a bullpup stock for it and it ended up being a little shorter than the Matador. I ordered 2 extra mags for it and it was nice to be able to shoot 36 shots by just changing the mags but then you had 3 empty mags that you needed to fill. I ended up buying a single shot tray for it.

Once I got the bullpup stock semi finished and the gun working good, I lost interest in it. The Matador weighed less, shot at least as accurately, was just as quiet and the fit and finish was better.

Ed and Tony are great people to deal with!

You are going to be very happy!

If you would like a slightly used Royale, let me know. πŸ˜†

I finally have decided to purchase an EDgun Matador instead of FX Royale. There are several reasons why I picked EDgun but one and the most important reason to me is the love and support of Tony and Ed himself for his guns. πŸ˜€ Not many products you buy and have direct contact and support with the owner, developer, builder, tester, seller, planner, scheduler and shipper all in one. I sent the deposit to Tony for a .22 Matador a few days ago and may have to wait until March or April for the next shipment. Let the waiting begin…

I’m REALLY happy for you, Zoco!!! πŸ˜€

Hello Ed

I’ll send you my two shipping adresses in a PM, so, you can choose wish one is easy to you to send the hammer. And also to say thank you for your souport. Consider me a very happy costumer πŸ˜€ .

Got this from ED today:

“Your couple of Matadors # 2637 and 2606 are in Saint Petersburg now. They are packed to be shipped directly from Russia, I just got the
call from a man who is responsible for that and he told that it seems to him there is a possibility to do it, will see within few days.”

Yesss !!!!

I’ve told Mr Gaddafi he may cancel. Sorry Koljo….. πŸ˜‰

quote zocoloco:

My Dear Koljo,

I know you are an old man, – much older than I am. But you poor soul, I did not know you were senile/and or suffering from Dementia… 😯

I never suggested St.Petersburg. I mentioned Karelia where ED has his factory. Some 650 km from St.Petersburg….

AND those two girls you keep bringing up ? πŸ˜†

Two girls only are hardly enough for any intelligent Debauchery…. Not for me at least…. 😈

Now that St.Petersburg has come up, I have dedusted plan B. My sailboat is anchored just off the coast here:

– and Mr Gaddafi has kindly offered his female lifguard in exchange for a Matador. He is now bringing them to the coast of Marocco (just one day’s sailing from here) where they will join me on board my ship…

We shall then set course for St. Petersburg where we estimate arrival some two months from now. That should give ED enough time to hire an icebreaker of the serious kind to make sure the waters are clear. The guns will then be loaded into the bottom hold (in the keel) before we set sail for international waters….

Knowing that you are a capable navigator at times, – you are hereby invited to join me for the trip. I need somebody at the helm while I indulge myself in the umpteen activities suggested by the spokeswoman for the crew (here seen to the right):

What do you think ? πŸ˜‰

Aye aye, Sir!

I kindly thank you for the mercy you have shown on a poor old, senile and demented soul like me. My only consolation is that our learned friend, professor HOOT of Toad Suck University 😯 has scientifically proven that the older, the more senile and the more demented a sinner like me gets, the more effectively, more efficiently, and with greater gusto he can sin.

Humbly yours,

Koljo

PS. If you might, by any chance, wish to let me have my way with the tall blond one in the middle, I’d be forever grateful to you, Sir πŸ™„

Ed, when you move the production to Europe, will you still have an active role in assembling, testing and tuning each gun?
