PLEASE people STOP retiring!!!! I need you to pay into Social Security so I can get my next PCP. Damn I hate retirement all it does is cost me more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Cool to retire with your health intact no matter what age, moneys not everything ……….
Good health is happiness and that priceless if u ask me.
With zero debt I retired at 55 last May with no health issues what so ever, so far knock on wood.
That boss hates me for collecting pension, because he’s working for me now …..
Money’s no problem from I’m retired from 2 primary out of 4 occupations and the wife still is too young to retire yet.
She’s 7 years younger than I am but I told her she can also retire to if she desires, but she just loves her job as a Surgical Oncologist.

Little advice, Better to retire now with your health.
When you health takes a hit, Money does not matter,
I was always told to retire now while you can, Do not wait until its to late,
I had big plans, six months before my around the world motorcycle tour , My health took a dive.
10 years in the planning and three years in to building the bike.
WTF, oh well I get to keep the wife now.

Dang Wingman, congrats and most likely all from hard work. My goal is by 45, young enough where I can still travel and have fun. Even at 39 with years dedicated to sports, old injuries are starting to re-surface and make waking up painful. When is the time machine suppose to come out? April 1st along with the .25 Mutant if I recall iride correctly right? 🙂
Retired at 38.. still cant escape the tuning requests…
able to enjoy sixteen years retirement and also enjoy all that retirement money .

You got me on that one Bird!! :8:
Very nice. I didn’t quite retire that early but I worked from home full time the last 15 years in IT. It was definitely “good duty” the last decade or so with plenty of hobby time and flex time. :winkn:

Yes – the one we looked at had an Onan generator so you could be off of the grid. Nothing will run the ACs though when it gets really hot. Our TT and all of the Toy Haulers we looked at are 50 AMP at this point with dual ACs. A lot of them are solar ready or even come with the solar panels installed. I would definitely pursue solar these days if you plan on being off of the grid much.
I put just under 4000 miles on the new V-Strom 1000 over the winter (well since Nov 1) so far with the mild weather. :winkn:
I got to have a generator , The rest is easy.

Zonk , yes I’m getting up in the years . However , since I retired at 55 unlike you younger guys I have been
able to enjoy sixteen years retirement and also enjoy all that retirement money .

I like camping out, Not visiting the local KOA trailer park.
