Cool. We have been perusing big toy haulers but it will be a year or so before I upgrade the truck again we just got in 2016. Right now we have a 2016 37′ Coachman TT w/ 3 slides that weighs a slim 9000 lbs. It pulls like a dream with a WDH.

Be sure to get a F350/3500 class duelly for the payload. Toy haulers can have very heavy pin weights. The rigs can gross 30k lbs. for RV, truck, etc.. If you only want to carry one large bike they have some dandies that raise the rear master bedroom and store only one big bike but very well. My wife prefers that to a standard 5er toy hauler since the rear area doesn’t look like a garage so much. I think it is 44 feet and about 15k lbs. empty 19k lbs. gross. The truck is 11k lbs..

Some of these old folks driving these 15 ton rigs around is a bit scary. Have you seen a few of the mishaps? :suprisedn:

I beat all you old farts into retirement, I did my 35 years in the medical field , And retired at 55 and sitting here at 60.
I retired riding a bicycle 90 miles a week, Power lifting at a local gym six hours a week, My health took a major hit called adult on set asthma.
That crap even screwed up my shooting.
I am now tied to a Cpap machine and 02 at night , I also have a drug store in my bath room,
Just bought me a big Dodge diesel looking for a toy hailer ,
I do not do RV parks, KOA, and camp grounds. Never have never will!!!!!!!!
Its got to be in the middle of nowhere for me to camp. Looks like I am going to need a big generator

I hope your are heterosexual because the best days of my life were at the University of Illinois in a coed dorm at 20 years of age.

Yes – I waited until I could afford to maintain my hobby crazy lifestyle I had working to retire and my younger wife still works too. Some of my buddies are rather broke in retirement and it’s not much fun. :winkn:

How old are you Zonk? Are you retired as well?

Cricket, I’ll be 66 in Nov and have been retired since Jan 2012. Every days a play day. My wife of 27 years is only 49 so she supports my hobbies. like Coda, I have 4 HDTV but no time to watch, to busy out shooting.

Damn, sounds awesome. They keep upping the age for retirement here because there’s no money for it, we have loads of poor elders who can barely afford rent much less food, more of them die from starvation than actual old age. It’s very sad, and extremely unfair, but we are apparently heading towards a civil war so hopefully that will change.

Of course he is like me. Isn’t everyone retired? Life is too short to work. lol I just did 7 months ago at 59. My original 30 year plan was 58 so I missed it by about 6 months. 😛

I have every premium channel on DISH (about 50 movie channels – even Epix) and Black Sails is on one of the HBO channels. I watch too much TV at night now to justify any more. We have four HDTVs for two people plus two HDTVs in our RV. LOL I was an IT guy so everything is high-tech. You can control the entire house by voice or cell phone but I have security codes on important stuff and there are layers of security and even power backups on critical stuff. My brother-in-law is in the business and does DOD security contracts on buildings.

You can also watch all of the DISH channels on the cell phone. You can even get Internet access in the RV camping now with an option (often where we go in the Ozark mountains there is little phone coverage). It works well but there is a data cap of something like 10GB per month using the satellite access. They certainly have made it very viable from even a few years ago (uploads directly to sat).

How old are you Zonk? Are you retired as well?

Cricket that’s what you do when your old….

You people still watch TV? I have a 4k smart TV but no channels lol, just YouTube streaming from my phone and also I recently acquired HBO Nordic, cheap and has a lot of great series, one of my favorites is Black sails, would recommend the US equivalent of you ever get bored of normal TV.

Yep love my ATT discount on my Direct TV, at least I got something out of it.
Did they ban Oak already?
