Jerry’s slugs
Hi all,
I got Jerry’s slugs last week and could not wait to try them. They made my 43’s look like babies. Today I shot the 6 ring slugs at a 1 and a half inch board at 24 yards, and it went through and hit the concrete block behind and mushroomed to 3/4 of an inch. I’m not sure about anyone else, but it seemed that my condor sounded a lot quieter. Maybe because of the size of the slug. The 43’s hit hard a make a huge impact when they hit. I have not used a chrony yet and I’m curious to see the velocity. They did shoot bullseye every shot at 24 yards. If anyone has any info on there chrony and experience please do tell.

Wow, those are great numbers with the 6 ring. That’s a stock valve?

Ok I just got back from Airguns of Arizona. Those guys are great to deal with and are very knowledgable in all aspects of airgunning. Anyways got my 62.7’s chronied and here are the #’s. 859 fps power wheel set at 8 = 102.75 FPE. 2nd shot 890 fps and power wheel at 12 = 110.30 FPE. 3rd shot was 905 fps power wheel at 13 = 114.05 FPE. Man was I and everyone else impressed! Next stop are the 70 grain slugs and more fpe. Thanks Jerry for these great slugs and want to give a shot out to the boys over at Airguns of Arizona.

These slugs fit perfect. They were not as tough to put in as I have heard they would be. They loaded just like the 43’s, nice and tight but not overly uncomfortable. Nice Slugs and look intimidating when sat next to my other pellets.
I shot it at Airguns of Arizona after I got I got it back from Tony. They chronied it for me and were amazed at the power of this baby. I think I will take cruise there tomorrow and see if they can help a brother out. I love that place and usually do all my business there. That’s where I bought my Condor stock and it was shooting 18 grain 22’s at 1125 fps. Yup I got a hot one.
Wow!! You were hitting that pot at 120 yards? That’s nuts! What kind of fpe were you getting? I want some long range knock down power for coyote, or pig, headshots most likely. That’s some nice shootin.

Did you shoot your chrony with the Eun Jins? 😆
I figured if you knew you were getting 985 with the Eun Jins, you must have used a chrony to measure that…why not just shoot some 6 rings across the chrony?
Condor section. Your getting about the same out of the eunjins that I was getting.
Can’t seem to locate that Best ammo link. Can you re post it on this topic? 883 fps is awesome! with those heavies. Have you guys noticed a change in sound with the heavy slugs? I have the 25 cal shooting 43’s at 985 fps so I’m curious about what kind of velocity I’m getting with the 63’s.
With the AirArcher modded valve and spring/hammer combination that Tagdagger sells, I got 120 FPE with the 7 rings, that is 883 FPS.

Actually Tony worked on my bottle and gave it a power mod. As you can see it was well worth every penny.
