Q:

Leshiy Legalities

quote Parrots:

Pining for the leshiy even more after all these pictures and line won’t ship till next week 🙁

Gotta say, i do like the one’s from the Russian forum without the specific cal written on the gun, unlike the recent picture. Why put a single calibre on a multi barrel gun, any idea’s?

It’s probably required by some socialist country in Europe.
Pippo are these the same countries that make women apologize for being raped? Makes total sense :angrymob:

Carry on making yourself look silly.

This time probably you are right…

Most probably for some kind of edgun owners…

quote Pippo:

Good luck Parrots!

Same to you.

Carry on making yourself look silly.

Don’t forget to get that last word in, ta ta.

Instead of prison they got community service?

Something to be proud of…

Just something that shows how much you really know.

Good luck Parrots!

Not case references are to live fire guns, air pistols you say we would get a 10 for.

Air pistol > 6 ft/lbs = Prohibited Firearm = Minimum Compulsory Imprisonement of 5 years :ugeekn:

It’s a matter of primary school mats

And yes I admit, you proved me wrong

And I’m very embarrassed

Oh look, after trying to call out someone else’s typo, pretty stupid when you actually do it right after when talking about school. Just made my day

Have heard of few people being arrested for slightly over powered air pistols/rifles, not heard of a single person getting 5 years for it, been mostly fines with community service. No need for mats when i can give you the facts.

I am giving you information i got on a phone call to BASC last year on Lelya, if you have a look at my posts from very early this year you will find i have a Lelya, and mine was extended for this very reason as according to BASC they have asked the CPS to make very clear what would be regarded a pistol, for most people a pistol would be something that was made and designed to be fired with one hand, The Lelya is not sold as a pistol or looks like one, it was made to be a rifle. As i said, it’s a grey area, something not worth chancing, why i extended my own one with a fixed extension.

No longer grey area you should send your e-mail to CPS

quote Parrots:

… why i extended my own one with a fixed extension.

Didn’t you say it serves another purpose?

Parrots one question though, “Are you still attending kindergarden?”

Only adults can own airguns

This would we very good news :8:

If we knew that the Lelya or Leshiy are not considered air pistols :geekn: and certainly set to max 6 ft/lbs.

Maybe my english is not good enough but I don’t see any step forward.

The Leshiy and Lelya would be considered rifles, theres a shoulder rest on them for a reason. Whens the last time someone shot one of these standing with 1 hand. They can be set to 12FPE. My emails included pictures of both guns and the Verminator.

You don’t give up do you, even with the facts in black and white.

Maybe you missed my previous post.

“You don’t give up”? Jesus ……

No need to thank me for having pushed you to have written proof that your Leshiy and Lelya are legal under 12 ft/lbs and that you can remove now the extension from your Lelya.

No need to thank me for having given probably the UK airgunners now a clearer view and more certitude about the UK air weapons law.

Cheers

Thank you when you kept insisting you were right and everyone else was wrong

Thank you for having pushed me to get info on something myself and those who posted here already knew, i only got it to shut you up, but that still did not work

Yes, you was a great help giving everyone a clear view, telling those who bought legal rifles that they will end up in prison for 10 years owning those rifles. I take my hat off to you sir :8:

Look forward to you getting your last word in, hope it gives you great pleasure

Mind showing a case where someone had gone to prison for 5 let along 10 years for a 7FPE air pistol.

Mandatory Minimum Sentences (Prohibited Weapons)

Mandatory minimum sentences apply to most section 5 offences and were introduced by section 287 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003, which inserted a new Section 51A into Firearms Act 1968. (Sections 5(1)(a), 5 (1) (ab), 5 (1) (aba), 5 (1) (ac), 5 (1) (ad), 5 (1) (ae), 5 (1) (af), 5 (1) (c) and 5 (1) (A) (a) see prohibited weapons above)

The court will consider the effect of mitigation and only in “exceptional circumstances” will the judge depart from the minimum sentence (R v Jordan, Alleyne and Redfern [2004] EWCA Crim. 3291).

You blind, i say show me a actual case where it has happened with an air pistol, someone getting 10 years as you said they would.

Not case references are to live fire guns, air pistols you say we would get a 10 for.

I myself would be very embarrassed, after telling everyone they are wrong and i am right, only to find it to be the opposite.

I saw this from one mile distance

Do i feel better now, about what? about something i told you i had already got information on a dozen times before, last year.

I see….

That’s the reason why you had put that ridiculous stock extension on your Lelya right?

Or do you shoot it one handed?

N.B. Did anybody notice that the supposed reply from BASC contains at least two mistakes?

Stock extension serves a purpose, but guess your too blind to notice anything anyone says that does not form well with your reasoning.

That supposed reply, Ed and others i know have received the forwarded emails.

Your the only one who was kicking up a stink about legalities, now every single thing you tried to justify and stating everyone else to be in the wrong other then yourself has been said to be wrong, who looks a little silly now i wonder.

Oh damn, someone made a typo, what an idiot they must be.

Tell me, as the Edgun forum is the forum you are most active in, do you actually own any Ed’s, plan to buy any, or just come on here to hate, although you do start most of your posts with “i’m not hating” yes, that’s very obvious.

All i have to say on the matter, over and out.
