Leshiy Legalities
Gotta say, i do like the one’s from the Russian forum without the specific cal written on the gun, unlike the recent picture. Why put a single calibre on a multi barrel gun, any idea’s?
It’s probably required by some socialist country in Europe.
Pippo are these the same countries that make women apologize for being raped? Makes total sense :angrymob:

sorry quoted my own by mistake.
If we knew that the Lelya or Leshiy are not considered air pistols :geekn: and certainly set to max 6 ft/lbs.
Maybe my english is not good enough but I don’t see any step forward.
The Leshiy and Lelya would be considered rifles, theres a shoulder rest on them for a reason. Whens the last time someone shot one of these standing with 1 hand. They can be set to 12FPE. My emails included pictures of both guns and the Verminator.
You don’t give up do you, even with the facts in black and white.
Maybe you missed my previous post.
“You don’t give up”? Jesus ……

OK this last post helps….
So apparently your extension on the Lelya stock is actually not needed.
Don’t you feel better now?
Keep those writings though.
Better safe then sorry as according to you, i can get 10 years. The extension serves a purpose, much more comfortable to shoulder.
Do i feel better now, about what? about something i told you i had already got information on a dozen times before, last year.
Mind showing a case where someone had gone to prison for 5 let along 10 years for a 7FPE air pistol.
It’s not a risk anyone should take, but when people talk ……..
Time to concentrate on your own laws.
So even our Lelya is legal and i have it in writing from a senior firearms officer. There you go Pippo, even the Lelya is legal, so nothing else to fall back to.
I am sorry but i cannot post the entire email, as there is a disclaimer attached to the email for doing so. I will forward the entire email to Ed for his reference though.

This would we very good news :8:

No need to thank me for having pushed you to have written proof that your Leshiy and Lelya are legal under 12 ft/lbs and that you can remove now the extension from your Lelya.
No need to thank me for having given probably the UK airgunners now a clearer view and more certitude about the UK air weapons law.
Cheers

And yes, my questions also included the Leshiy being foldable.

Further reply when asked to confirm if it’s still legal if barrel length is under 30cm,

Here it is, hope this is enough for all the doubts, or maybe a letter from the Prime minister next 🙂

For sure there must be some kind of an authority in UK, which can judge (in writing) if Leshiy is a pistol or not… otherwise I’d just stick to 350mm barrel version.
It’s like self defense nowadays.
If you get shot 15 times with a shotgun and finally you shoot back then probably this is ok because after 15 shots it’s almost clear that the guy wanted to harm you.
But if you fire back before having received 15 bullets then this is not self defense but over reaction because of not having given the guy the opportunity to leave the place peacefully.
Pippo let me see if I understand the justice system. When a person commits a robbery, it is not said person’s fault. It is society’s fault for years of microaggressions and institutional disadvantage placed upon the “criminal” by society as a whole. Ergo it cannot be the robber’s fault, the culture and society must bear the burden of blame. So break the law with an airgun as a productive member of society (aka privileged) 5 years of smashing rocks in prison. Hold up a bank, probation and an apology letter from the Queen. How did I do?
3-4ftlbs? you as might as well throw the gun at the target – probably do more damage that way.

I see….
That’s the reason why you had put that ridiculous stock extension on your Lelya right?
Or do you shoot it one handed?
N.B. Did anybody notice that the supposed reply from BASC contains at least two mistakes?
