Q:

MATADOR R3M on it’s way to Norway, – arrived finally….

Yes I know……. ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I’ll try not to start another mammut thread like the one here:

http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=19488

– but yes, I have taken the plunge and ordered (and paid for) a brand new R3M std. walnut cal.22. As there are no Edgun representatives in Norway, I have been dealing with Ed directly……

I also ordered a multishot breech to fit on my single shot R3s…….. ๐Ÿ˜‰

So now the wait begins……. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

But this time I am at least prepared for the worst. I don’t expect to get it until towards late autumn………

I’ll keep you updated though, and again shipping is the most difficult issue I think………

We’ll see………

Cheers

Multi-breech? I’d be happy with multi-shot. You sure that isn’t a Greenbase? ๐Ÿ™‚

Here…you guys can check out my Edgun Multi-Breech and magazines.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. They are not THAT hard to obtain. I got this one on the ‘net!

Not certain I’ll keep it. Might break it down for parts and try to recover the costs. However, I do like the aluminum magazines that don’t use springs and such to hold the pellets.

Kind regards,

Uncle H ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ๐Ÿ˜ฏ t

I’m trying to decide if you happened to jinx it by posting this thread or if by posting it may have unjinxed it. ๐Ÿ˜•

I don’t know if I can take the pain and heartbreak of this going the way of the other thread. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Hope you get your new toy SOON!!!!!!! โ—

Hmmmmm……

I’m still waiting for an update on shipping, – and the wait isn’t getting any less painful knowing that the new multishot breech already has reached our Swedish friend Sir Ville. A small week to go and I’ll have to return to Oslo where shooting is not as fun……….. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What is the price for an R3M?

I have no clue about potential US retail prices………….

I’ve paid 1.600 Euros (which I think it may be worth !!!)……… ๐Ÿ˜‰

What is the price for an R3M?

I have no clue what happened last night, – but somebody had added some serious glue into the system. I couldn’t get forum pages to refresh before my browser timed out ….. ๐Ÿ™

Yepp, pivoting is crucial and a must have………. ๐Ÿ˜€

Panning may be of less importance, – but my Harrises do that too, – thanks to the quick detach mount shown below. You can lock it or increase/decreaase friction by rotating the lever shown, – or rotate as you please. Also by pushing the silvery knob you can slide the bipod off your rail in a second and slide it onto another rail of your choice. With the selection of Harris bipods being greater when it comes to elevation, I find them just as good………. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Close up of the mount:

US-made and sturdy as a rock………… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers from Trygve pretending he’s NOT waiting………… ๐Ÿ˜ณ

This forum is a bit doggy tonight….

Another beautiful picture

For shooting paper – any of my bipods with the pivot will work well enough. For night time pest shooting the Atlas simply kicks the proverbial butt for following the beasts hither and yon in the dark. The Harris sways forward and back as do the cheapies but not nearly as bad but the forward angled Atlas setting is solid as a rock in tracking. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I hope the clones are as stable for my lessor guns.

Nice! One can just love the mid-summertime and the sun not setting at all. Yesterday I was up and partying untill 3 oยดclock and it was as light as at 8 oยดclock in the evening when we left for the party. Not easy to sleep sober (that wasnยดt a problem this time) though having the sun shining on ones face in the middle of the night.
I had my friend from FLA/USA over two years ago and i woke him up at 3 oยดclock in the morning and told him itยดs 1 oยดclock the following afternoon. He was kinda lost there for a while, poor bastard…

Talking about different ways to rig your gun…. ๐Ÿ˜‰ :

I was having my dinner yesterday in my summerhouse around 2215hrs and all of a sudden discovered this silhuett in front of me:

A combination of bits and pieces found on ebay along with the Harris bipod and Accu-shot monopod now provide a rock solid portable “bench” for Master ED….

I am just as happy with my Harris as I am with my Atlas bipod, – in fact I find the Harris more suitable for my needs at times. My Harris(es) now “quick detaches” to my Picatinny rails and I may also pan if needed……….. ๐Ÿ˜€

Ok. Here is the Cricket with the L3. Getting dark so the pictures are a but fuzzier with my Galaxy Note II in a hurry. ๐Ÿ™‚ The light mount is actually in the second slot on the rail from the rear.

L3 – 3″ rail 7- slot

That would stink. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

The 7 slot (L3 3″) is the minimum that will work. In that case you will put the light mount in the second slot from rear which sticks back a bit but is still very stable and the front of the Atlas mount is flush with the front of the rail mount. ๐Ÿ™‚ I just tried it. That is what I will put on the Cricket I believe since the skeleton forearm is a bit shorter than the Matador.
