Q:

more ACCURACY issues please help!!!

So I was finally able to get to the range again today at 100 and 50 yards.my accuracy with bags is less then I would expect from a 1700 dollar rifle 2300 dollar system. The rifle has over1400 rounds threw it and it has been tuned by me as some of you know. Just yesterday I reconfirmed my fps here is my results. not only is my accuracy not as good as i thought it would be but the shrould changes the poa by 2 1/2 inches at 100 yards it is not hit, i think it is either due to weight or harmonics of the barrel. i free floated the airtube before also so airtube changes should not be and issue. could my accuracy issues be due to the wrong fps for my gun? could i send my rifle back after this long of having it? should i send it back? i am at a loss with this rifle! i spent just about everything i got to own one and it does nothing that people claim they do!!!!! this gun has brought me more stress then three kids have ever, because at least i can spank children! can’t spank the cricket! well it wouldn’t do me any good!

The barrel shouldn’t be the issue because when you tried shooting it without the shroud (as per your older post) it was shooting perfectly. Did you try shooting it without the current shroud? Also, try testing indoors. Even a 3 mph wind can cause the pellet to deviate from its line.

On my Cricket, JSB 18 and 16-grain pellets shoot to POI, but if i shoot Crosman Premier domes and Kodiaks they clip the end cap on the shroud so badly that the problem is comparable to Miley Cyrus running her butt on whatever pole it comes into contact with leaving visual skid marks…ahem…lead marks.

This is true at 15.5 yards my gun shoots perfect lol it was the only place I could shoot my gun with out the shroud. But before with the old shroud at 15.5 yards I was getting 1/2 inch groups. Now that I have been testing at longer ranges I am seeing issues again the group size seems to actually be better with shroud on. But poi changes about 2 inches up with out shroud. I need to get back to the range because my barrel was a little dirty. Hope fully I can get back tomorrow.

Lol sorry I meant, what is the q tip test? And the crown looks good.

It’s were the pellet exits the gun/barrel. Is there a burr or any damage to it that you can see? Unscrew the Moderator and check barrel.

What is that?

Your crown maybe buggered up…….

have you performed the Q tip test?

Was your accuracy ever this bad? Could I have gotten a bad barrel???

I know on mine, I get better groups with my speed up in the 930-940 range and I start at 230 bar. Mine drops off the regulator at around 120 bar and I get 4 good mags (48) before I have to start checking the pressure, or refill… I’m shooting JSB 25’s.

I got it from precision air

Man thats a good looking string Chad…..

Refresh us where did you purchase your gun from? Sounds like you might wanna send it over to ernest and have him work his magic
