Q:

New CF shroud & muffler for the Bug !

I received my shiny, new CF parts today. The shroud makes the barrel and airtube equally long so now the gun looks that much better. The end cap is removable and underneath it there´s threading for the masive muffler if/when one wants to go stealth.
Unfortunately me and the manufacturer had a little lack of communication so the shroud is 20mm too short at the muzzle-end and thus the much bigger OD muffler can´t be threaded on.
No worries though since he´ll make me one in correct length.
Sorry about the usual “high” quality of them Pic´s … 😳

Thanks Steve (Scirrocco) for hooking me up !! :6:

Lol! Speaking about these flashy carbon fiber shrouds….why stop there? Why not bedazzle them with some precious stones and metals? Gold plate the cocking lever, trigger and rail? Embed rubies and sapphires in the stock? C’mon guys the sky is the limit! 😉

Naaah – let´s stay where we currently are.
I´m pretty impressed over both the Std length CF shroud and the shorty + muffler so now i got him to make me one out of CF,stainless and aluminium for my Rimfires. He does really good work at a really good price.

I got a buddy that weighed about 365 at his peak and he went and got his stomach reduced. At 220 he looks just like a vagina and I see him nearly every week. 😛

All this talk about vagina, when was the last time you guys saw one?

All this talk about vagina, when was the last time you guys saw one? I know you’re married and all but doesn’t mean your counter part hasn’t collected cob webs 🙂 A buddy of mine got married before I did. Good looking white couple. They’ve been living together for a few years before they got married. On the night of his bachelor party, I said Travis, how’s the sex life now that you guys live together? He’s like Donny it is horrible, at first we go at like bunnies but then it becomes a chore. We have to plan it all out, who puts the dog in the cage, when I am in the mood she’s not. Vise versa. So he said it comes down to jacking off it is a lot faster and I don’t have to deal with the other stuff lol. Now that I am married, with a kid and a dog. I see what he meant. Add air guns to the equation damn, my wife has to beg me for sex lol.

So true Donny…so true. You forgot to mention the impact watching your child be born (if you were brave enough) leaves a lasting image of that babies head coming out of the vagina not to mention the after birth…skirt steak anyone?

I am going shorter with a 24″ Compact too. 27″ is too long. 😀

All too long ! :biggrinn: We need to compete on which one of us will have the REAL compact – without sawing off the little buttstock there is .

@donnyfl-I just had NC do his deal. never even thought about the length since I was focused on effect. I guess I could have reduced it an inch but it might not look as good with the can attached. Since I’m going to have that part on most the time, I’m happy with the results in both sound and length.

While waiting for the CF Silencer I’m using my Hogan Decimeater and the vocal report resembles a mouse qeef!
Took the decibel meter to the range today and tested it quick and dirty.
76.6 dB(A) @ 1 meter/90 deg inside the shooting range. That’s quiet…
Beside me was Wild Willy with his 25 with shortened CF shroud and no silencer sounding like a howitzer in comparison.
Now the hammer hitting the valve is deafening and need to be addressed.

I agree ! That was , by far , the most silent .22 cal. at high power level (wasn´t it 287 mp/s with 18gr ?) that i´ve ever heard – or in this case NOT heard. The CF muffler may even make it quieter still, if that´s even possible. Those shrouds are very effective.

Did I forget to put the speed in the post? Yes I did…
Better late than to late so here it is over 920 fps with 18.13 grains JSB!
Is nice…

Very nice! Did you ask for the shroud to be a little longer than OEM?
