New CF shroud & muffler for the Bug !
I received my shiny,new CF parts today. The shroud makes the barrel and airtube equally long so now the gun looks that much better. The end cap is removable and underneath it there´s threading for the masive muffler if/when one wants to go stealth.
Unfortunately me and the manufacturer had a little lack of communication so the shroud is 20mm too short at the muzzle-end and thus the much bigger OD muffler can´t be threaded on.
No worries though since he´ll make me one in correct length.

While waiting for the CF Silencer I’m using my Hogan Decimeater and the vocal report resembles a mouse qeef!
Took the decibel meter to the range today and tested it quick and dirty.
76.6 dB(A) @ 1 meter/90 deg inside the shooting range. That’s quiet…
Beside me was Wild Willy with his 25 with shortened CF shroud and no silencer sounding like a howitzer in comparison.
Now the hammer hitting the valve is deafening and need to be addressed.

Donny, you can go to wally world and pick up a bunch of hair curlers, split them down the middle and sip them in betxeen the larger baffels, and then wrap them. It will keep the scotch bright, felt, steel wool or what ever you use out of the bullet path. (Oop’s pellet). So use to the .257 and bullets now. Your shroud is almost exactyy like the one I have on the.257. 😀

Steel Wool sheets is the material you´re searching after. You need to change those sheets regularly though since they start to rust after some time. SW sheets won´t crawl around though. Some use those Scotch Brite sheets too ( those 3M sheets used to iex polish Cu-pipes before soldering) with great success. Choose your Poison, Donny. Choose wisely !
Looks like he added some type of foam to absorb air even more. I have two LDC and when you look into it you’ll see circles along the walls and baffles in the middle.

Then if you look in the middle, you can see the baffles. So the whole thing is one piece
I tried to put cotton on the outer between the ldc and the shell but the cotton eventually found its way to the middle after a few shots. The air moves it around due to the large holes. Yours are small holes so it keeps that foam piece in place. I am going to try to use thick felt sheets.
I tried to take a pic of the innards of the extra muffler without much success. It isn´t just baffles in a row – design though. That much can be seen …

All this talk about vagina, when was the last time you guys saw one? I know you’re married and all but doesn’t mean your counter part hasn’t collected cob webs 🙂 A buddy of mine got married before I did. Good looking white couple. They’ve been living together for a few years before they got married. On the night of his bachelor party, I said Travis, how’s the sex life now that you guys live together?
