not looking good for the BOBCAT

and the cricket is 7.5LB??
Yep they have her down to 8 lbs. 😯
the bobcat is 1.5″ longer than the cricket, yes it’s heavier, but it still shoots real nice….. 🙂

Secoda I noticed that one in the back…. Is that the new compact beluga?

You can’t even compare the 2. The bobcat is more a carbine and now the thing is huge with all the addon shroud and the ext AirTube
Of course your gonna get more shots it does have a larger AirTube and weighs like 4 lbs more than my compact
Different strokes for different folks.
I have had no problems with mine so far, but it’s NOT regulated. Only time will tell. Same accuracy as my Cricket, very good. I get more shots with my Bobcat than I do with my Cricket.

IDK but i haven’t heard about any problems on the BC’s sold here – not that i have much listened to my BC owning “friends”.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2. This POS iPhone sucks though …
So, did FX prematurely rush the Cat out of the production line ?
Is the gun a flawed design or she just has bugs that will be sorted out ?
Tacoma, AoA will pay the shipping back to you, but I agree when you spend that kind of $$$ you would think they’d pay the freight BOTH ways….

I’m just glad to see that a mind has changed at least a bit and says that FRIENDS Here on the TAG count as well,. As much as making a buck? We’ll see!
So if it comes back faulty again are you going to willingly hand over another $40 to ship it back again?
I’ve shipped back many faulty products under warranty and never had to foot the bill for shipping.
If I did have to pay up front I was reimbursed once warranty claim processed.
I’d be fucking MG pissed if I were you.

Yeah, that was my post.
I don’t know about “Shitty Kitty”… It may have been a good rifle before “something” happened to it. I think that cat may have gotten run over by the UPS truck! LOL!
I agree 100% that FX and AoA should STOP selling these until the bugs get worked out. Also, I believe AoA should offer to pay for the shipping costs when a DEFECTIVE product has to be shipped back to them. It cost me $40 to send the BC back! So now, I’m out the cost of the rifle PLUS another $40! Why does my BC cost me $40 more than everyone else’s?
AoA is one of the only web based businesses, I do business with, that does not offer free shipping (if you spend $_____). It’s a small thing that means a LOT to a customer! I buy my pellets almost exclusively from Pyramid Air because they offer free shipping over $150, AND buy 3 get one free ON TOP OF THAT! That’s a LOT of money AoA doesn’t get just because of the free shipping option. Whenever I put an order together at PA, I always shoot for that $150 mark. There’s been many times that I’ve put together an order for around $90-120. Then, I go through and find more stuff to pile on just so I don’t have to waste my money on shipping.
Are you listening AoA? That’s another $30-60 that I spend just to save the ~$15 shipping fee. AND, it’s purchase after purchase that is going to the competition instead of you! For me, It’s like getting a ~$15 “something” for free, or $15 “off” on something. I can use that $15 for another tin of pellets, or some targets, or some other accessory that I’m on the fence about. I’d like to order more often from AoA, I really would! I think they are more focused and definitely more dedicated to air rifles vs. PA who sells all sorts of pre-packaged goods. But, I need to stretch my $ out and get the best available deal and, unfortunately, that’s not at AoA. If “it” costs 1900 at AoA, and 1900 at PA, I’ll go to PA because it won’t ACTUALLY cost 1900 + 15 or 25 for the damn shipping!
Yes, I got onto a rant there. Back on topic.
I remain faithful that AoA will be able to repair this BC and return it to me working as it should. I have seen the capabilities of these rifles and of the smooth twist barrel first hand. I think it is very unfortunate for FX and the Bobcat line to be having this much trouble. Every time someone posts on the yellow or here on the Talon about yet another Bobcat failing to deliver, it discredits both the Fx line AND AoA. The fact that they continue to sell these without addressing the problems is hurting them BOTH.
STOP SELLING THEM UNTIL THERE IS A SOLID, RELIABLE FIX!!!
I don’t understand why FX does not STOP all shipments of the Bobcat until the quality problems are solved. Irreparable damage is being done and way too many enthusiasts are being turned away from FX. I have never even held an FX gun and have no intention to.
I work for a mid-size bank and we are preparing to introduce a new online banking program. We have had dozens of people working on the release for about a year and they recently delayed it. Why? Not because it does not work, but because it does not work perfectly and we don’t want pissed customers. It is very easy to walk across the street to another bank that already has a better program. Kalibrgun has an equal, if not better, gun and I don’t understand why some continue to send their Bobcat back to the dealer. I would politely DEMAND a refund or in-store credit. I don’t know about everyone else, but when I shell out $1500+ for a gun, I want to shoot it immediately and keep on going. I could not imagine the frustration of shipping a gun back, waiting, shipping back, etc. NEVER!
