I just placed a order for a .25 walnut Cricket from AOA yesterday. I had called the day before with 30 mins to closing time and the machine said there were 4 people ahead of me, I left my number and a message expecting them to get back to me. They did not that day but called me back early the next morning, I was in class though and could not answer. I called when I got home, waited for like 4 mins and was taken care of by a friendly enough attendant, not the nicest rep i’ve ever talked to but nowhere near rude. He took the time and answered my questions in a respectful manner.

All that to say that my experience with AOA (so far) has been fine and in no way as terrible as some guys have reported.

That crap with the bobcats is utterly ridiculous though, that is a lemon of a gun if there ever was one :sadn:

Well, considering all the guns that are coming back for work no wander they have no time to answer or call people back 😉

When you call AoA it goes to voice mail and your told to leave your number, they’ll call you right back……RIGHT…Two or three days later they’ll get back to you. It’s happened to me twice before. 😡

Zonk

AOA must be hella busy, getting all kinds of returns

AoA has been known to send out rifles (new rifles) that have ben returned for repair.

AMEN! I’m a statistic! :angrymob:

True! I think it´s not possible – or easy – as long they use the Royal block on it. Like i´ve said all along ; Throw the blueprints outta window and start with a clean sheet of paper. Build a Bullpup from ground up (and i know FX is more than capable of doing that) rather than Lego´ing it together from existing parts for other models. That´s not the cheap approach though …

I was at the range today and a guy showed up with his newest toy – a BC Mk2. It sure looks overly heavy and bulky and eventhough i´ve seen those (Mk 1 & Mk 2) countless of times now that´s the first thing that strikes me – the look of a heavy weight wrestler.
It´s comfy to shoot with and all but it sure is big and clumsy.

You know if Fredrick were get rid of that stupid heavy gauge and put in the front like cricket and ED with the fill adapter behind. then move the action/breach to the rear where it belongs on a bull pup

get that stock sleek and edgun looking… put a pica tinny on top. by moving the Fill/guage it would easily shave a pound.

get that thing under 7 lbs. and he would have a winner.

I bought 1 of the 1st to hit us soil. and i wanted to like it Soo BAD. But i couldn’t get over the ugliness, the weight. and the fact that the stock was flimsy.

who wants to shoot a 11 lb gun off hand in the woods(after scope and acc)…. not me

other than that it was a sweet gun.

Maybe FX will get smart and jump off of the AOA ship.

Then maybe we can get fx products at a closer-to-retail price, wishful thinking I know 😳

We are excited to have a place to call our own. We have big plans ahead. We must thank SteveCT for giving us his support and lets give him a big thanks. We will be brainstorming for ideas as always and Anthony266 and
I Adam in SoCal(walkonking) are very happy to see all our old and new friends here.

Yipikai Mother Trucker! We are alive….More information will be coming as people come.

You have seen it before and you are going to see it again…My Baby:

For the life of me I can’t seem to get used to the way their guns look. My eyes hurt looking at Bobcat hybrid. I was looking at a picture of a BC on yellow last week and my 7 year old girl pipes up. Wow this thing looks heavy. Can you imagine that. That’s the first impression she got from it. Then I also had photo bucket open and showed her my tactical black cricket and she goes. Wow cool that’s what I call nice. Anyways the issues with the BC will soon go away and get fixed but it still is what it is. I have a nice trigger on cricket and just as good a barrel if not better ( I believe better). Plus I almost got it at half price and looks great

Honestly AOA is giving FX a shitty rep…

I for one won’t buy from them… even if that means no FX for me. and there are many more.

That in my opinion would have been a veeery clever move by Fredrik. Let’s see what happens…….. :biggrinn:

I think that “HE” has his hands full of there now…. with :angrymob:

I tried to help but… well AOA has dug the hole a little too deep

Honestly when that guy sent me some photos of his setup and was comparing them to the ones i took of mine i was like WTF is aoa doing???

when they installed the regs at aoa they clearly used the wrong size dowty seals with a washer contraption to stop them from shifting.

when all they had to do is install the right seals.

and now everyone is talking about stacked dowty seals a flawed design and so on…. and none of them even so much got an idea of how it all works
