not looking good for the BOBCAT

I always warn folks that for me AOA has not been good where major support is required despite their size. Maybe others have had a better experience. In one case I fixed a leak myself with the help of the third party expert and on the other leaky gun I shipped it directly to the manufacturer myself and got a replacement. I really had to bypass AOA to fix the problems quickly.

They have every issue of an Edgun and a Cricket added together and then some news ones like the bad plumbing. Folks need to get over marketing by Ted and others that create a temporary false perception of a product and cause a short term run on them. Eventually reality sets in and the marketplace forces win out. They have a good barrel and great trigger but stumble very badly after that. Without the ST barrels FX would be a pretty lame product line because many of them just look funny. The Bobcats really fit the designation “Shitty Kitties” IMO 😀 I certainly have not seen one I would be willing to buy yet and the ones that do look ok are 4 feet long. 😯

I like staying here because I like the people or members here. If those people don’t like here and go somewhere else, I will follow them.
I don’t like yellow at all, keep my mouth shut there just because selling or buying something from members there. I love freedom.
I believe that we can find a place where all members can enjoy free speech and build friendship.

I’m a member of 3 airgun forums and you must say this forum is something else. Moderators are pretty much asleep compared to other forums. I’m not sure if that is the best because we has topics starting or having the f word in it and it really makes me cringe. I will not open Tapatalk and this form with my kids looking over my shoulder. As a matter of fact I sometimes hope nobody finds out I’m reading this forum on a regular basis. Language flows freely and I never did say anything till now but do we really have to go there. We’re all adults and don’t need to prove to anyone we are king of the hill. We’re all feeble humans and come to this forum for a little chat and to learn. My main reasons are to learn from the experts and give back to forum what I can. I think when we are granted a membership we should respect the everyone as a whole. When administration says stop we need to take a breath and realized what’s going on and who is the boss. Anything without some kind of restraints will eventually end up out of control and junk. I enjoy this forum and let the information flow and cut back on the crap:-)

As much as I respect WOK’s noble attitude and desire to support a friend and back him up when needed, I would agree with those who say a true friend should listen and give advice when he sees something that may have an impact on his friend’s well being….. 😉

Apparently WOK disagrees. He prefers to shy away from the essence of the discussion. So this is not the place. The discussion is not wanted, and with all due respect, WOK may decide as he wants. How he and his friends believe they are going to benefit from this attitude in the long run, – is however beyond my understanding. Also none of my business…….

All I know is that I’ve made a terrible mistake in believing this was THE place for open discussions and freedom of speech. Based on my understanding from “lurking” in the bushes before coming out in the open with my “waiting” thread (still the second most viewed I think) and later my “comparison” thread (soon to reach 170.000 views and by far the most viewed in this corner of the web). Knowing what I know now, I should have taken these threads elsewhere………

In this wonderful and transparent cyberworld that I call “Airgunia”, there are lots of cells/institutions or “states” if you like. Some small, some big and some real “monsters”. I’m talking about the forums that you find all over the web. The “Yellow” is one of the latter categories. Seen from “outside” and “beyond”: What I simply don’t understand is how the American public can support this completely “totalitarian state” and even throw money at it in terms of support. If there’s anything the US is known for in the international world, – it must be their ability to “crack” down on “dictatorships” and the lack of democracy within them……..

Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The legal protections of the First Amendment are some of the broadest of any industrialized nation…….

It appears not to be true when business and dollars come into play…………

I may want to “retire” now. I have our own Norwegian forum to look after. It is not sponsored by anyone, and there’s not a lot happening right now. However there’s an international section on there where I can guarantee freedom of speech for everybody as long as you maintain a civilized language and a minimum of ethics is upheld. It does not take a lot of effort to open it up for a broader audience. That may be an alternative……… 😉

Well, I guess I stand corrected. I had NO idea the way the hi-Archie was arranged here. I don’t know what the Hell Steve has done other than allowing free advertising on his form. But it must really be something to make him count as a friend more than the multitude of friends you have right here in your own house. The one, outweighs the many I guess.

I would hate to loose many of my friends over ONE who can’t show respect to anyone but his self and his cronies. But this is your house. I will forget all the times the TAG has been represented as our house. For everyone. But then in reality, it is not. Exactly like Steve has always explained himself on the yellow. But if the forum has no members, then what damned good is it? Steve doesn’t make the TAG. The members make up the tag. Think Not/ How long would the TAG last with NO Members? It wold no longer be a forum. Something Steve in his arrogance has totally forgotten. A King with no realm is a King of nothing.

Odd thing. In the South, we have a tradition. We treat people in our house as guest. We do not attempt to make them enemies simply because we know a person who has mistreated them, and aren’t afrade to say so. But to each his own.

This is the exact same type of thing that has separated the north from the south, the east from the west, the left from the right. We totally disagree on the difference between right and wrong. Common sense and fair play are things of the past. It lessens us all. And is why, my head is hung low. Yes WOK, a very sad on the tag. A damned shame.

I may still post here, if allowed, but I will Never feel the same about this place I called home for years. As you have so eloquently pointed out. It is NOT home. We are just ALLOWED to be here, and or do business with you and Tony? Perhaps I should bow down now?
