If the moderator was OEM sized to go with the caliber of the gun on which installed, it can be designed to be very effective…such as with the .30 Edgun!
When you buy such a moderator and install it on a gun you already own…it may not work as well. Many factors are involved.
I believe this is what you are experiencing when you install them and find it works well for some, but not for others.
The eccentric moderator cannot be seen as a universal solution. I don’t believe Ed ever intended for it to be used with that being in mind. It will help, but it can’t perform miracles. It is simply a short fat version of a long moderator, it helps reduce sound and length. It’s a step forward, but not the final solution.
