spare barrels will be availible with its own moderators right? plus magazines. does anyone know price of spare barrel? i fell in love with this gun when i saw it

$400

but not sure if that is just the barrel (what is needed in the barrel which is shrouded, port, and magazine)

3 out of 5 groups 1 inch ctc all day at 100 with my webley fx2000. Bench rested of course. It’s kind of fun out shooting the PB at the range. I wish fx would go back to their LW barrels.

…. and waiting…..

A good friend will receive his Impotent in few days , with both the .22 and a .30 barrel. I´ll soon either “told you so” or forever hold my piece. :fishinghole:

The Impotent Gay Changer has made its Impact … :fishinghole:

Can you up the power on these newer BSA scorpion’s?????

:fishinghole:

Sure you can. I’m running at 52fpe and had the power up to 57fpe when I was adjusting the gun for King Heavies.

QUOTE FROM YRRAH:

“The current bench mark for 100 yard 5 shot groups is ctc one inch. In best conditions that standard can be averaged in a session of five to ten groups with best conventional barrels.
Since 2002/3 when Chris Thomas, also from OZ, and I shot the first reported such groups, on the world stage the interest and success has gathered momentum.

By 2008 I knew of some 25 shooters from 9 countries from Australia (first), New Zealand to Argentina, USA, RSA, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium and UK, who had shot sub inch at 100 yards (I think also Brazil); too many now to name like Bulgaria . They had used a number of different off the shelf rifles, some modified, and all would have had twist rates of roughly 1:18 to 1:16″ and used JSB pellets and a few of H&N Baracudas.

I have personally shot in excess of one hundred such groups since 2003 using five different rifles with nine different barrels, in calibres .177, .22 and .25 including FX ST .22 and .25, LW .177 and .22, and BSA .22 and .25 and one Benchmark 3 g .22. With the exception of the ST barrels’ effective spin rates, all had twist rates as indicated above.”

Gamo rifle doing sub MOA at 100’ish yards… impressive

And that’s how marketing works. In fact Gamo Dynamax is rebadged BSA Sportsman HV, had I said that my BSA did that you’d be saying “Yeah, BSAs are really accurate guns, good shooting”. My gun boosts some 50% of original parts but it still has Gamo logo somewhere in the stock so in principle it is a Gamo. When I see Dutch 100M competition shooters swapping their old BSA Lonestars to FX Impacts and FX ruling the top of their scoreboards, then I would be interested too. Based on current marketing and hype, there are more accurate guns for much less money to be had.

That’s around 35mm groups. OK but not impressive. Yrrah did 12mm groups with those pellets and BSA barrel at 100y.

12mm!! Thats crazy good thats less than two .25 cal pellets! Im happy that that I able of getting 1.5″ LOL 😳

That is extremely good, although BSA barrels are rather good and Yrrah is known for his long range shooting. Still, if I can do this at 97M with JSB Kings and my old banged up Gamo Dynamax …

… then surely Ted should do better since he’s using better pellets and better gun at shorter distance.

Bitch Gunner – the fill rate has always been slow to fight the at heating and the slowing process is easy : Just tighten the screw that holds the o-ring ( fill valve ) untill the fill speed is to your liking.

BG way bigger improvement over the very first generation.

Soze, how do you like your newer version of Vulcan? I have newer version also, got it in October: slower fill rate no warm AT, HST has hex head for easy adjustments, ping/twang is reduced significantly. I’ve also noticed that the bolt cycles more smoothly. Muzzle blast is also quieter! I’ve got about 300 pellets through is so far…still breaking in. Shot sub 1″ groups (10shoots ea) from 50, 60, 70 and 75 yds today. Very happy :4: :4: 😆 😆
