I heard late August as earliest release date and these things typically run later than initial projections.
Are there any revised release dates for the Impact or has this one died on the vine too?
I’ve lost my interest in FX again, Freddy has gotten careless.

I actually agree. Well said. After seeing/shooting/handling the WildCat ( also known as WC – the toilet gun ) my interrest in these new FX’s has turned cold. The WC feels like a toy, doesn’t shoot any better than the Beluga and is also ergonomically a step down from the Fugly Gun.
The Impact is probably what it is marketed as : Too good to be true. Read- not really good at anything.
Any word on the weight or OAL?
I just can’t figure out how this NEW gun will be excellent at anything if it’s designed to be a jack of all trades. We spend quite a bit of time fine tuning the one caliber we have never mind this all in one stuff. Just don’t see it outperforming any FX gun they currently offer.

Is there any new info on a delivery date for the Impact? I’ve been wanting to try an FX platform and it looks interesting if they can deliver the goods.
The platform of this gun makes it very interesting to me. I imagine someone with wood working skills can make a very beautiful stock for this gun kinda like the Steyr Hunter. The issue is FX’s partnership with AoA making it cost prohibitive. It should be a $1,500 gun and not $1,900+ AoA will probably charge.
Just wanted to point out this gun is similar to the Air Force guns. Of course it looks like it’s built much better. I guess AF thought sitting on one platform and not improving on it was OK.
