Received my "Knock-off" Atlas Bipod today !
Got the Atlas-copy/knock-off/whatever Bipod today. I haven´t hold an original Atlas in my hand so i don´t know exactly how it feels and so but this one looks exactly like it does on those Greenbase pics and is a well made piece as it seems. Definitely worth the price. As i said before i only have good experience with Greenbase (have bought loads of stuff from them in more than a dozen occasion) and the Bipod in question is as described and well worth those few bux it cost.

Boy,do i feel stupid now. Got it fixed and Billy was right – it was just to turn the slotted screw, although it needs to be pushed out before it can be done. I,in my infinite wisdom and great ignorance, tried to turn it while it was “seated” in its groove. Works very well now.

Never! The salmon intake is where it´s always been – eighteen pounds /day. I know where your keys are too but i won´t tell you. 😯
Moreover – i think those knock-off´s are sold out at the moment. He´ll get a new batch soon enough so right about the time you find your keys they´ll be available again.

I picked off two nutters and a squirrel with the Matador this morning. The .25 Predators are devastating. A third nutter went in hiding in the logs but I will get him eventually. 😉
Opposite the locking clamp is a slotted screw just turn it!!
It tightens it up . Now it fits on the weaver base tight as you like
Well – mine isn´t as easy fix. The screw can´t be turned any tighter. I ,of course , tried that fix first before i took contact with GB again.
The damned crow hunt didn´t go well either. Since the place is located in the countryside the crows are a lot more suspicious and careful for anything out of ordinary ,compared to those from more urban area. Since our cars were parked outside the cabin and we were sitting on the porch those buggers held the range to 100+ meters and conditions being very windy there was no use to even try. Next time we´ll park our cars farther away and sit inside and shoot them thru windows and behind curtains. There are lots of crows though so that´s a good sign.

I actually ran into a problem with one of the legs of the bipod….
If I tightened the Allen screw that hold the leg in, the leg wouldn’t move….It would get stuck in position.
So what I realized was that one of the gold washers was too big thus stoping the leg from moving…
So I proceeded to file down the leg to make room for the washer and now the leg moves as it should with the Allen screw all the way tightened.
lol – this is causing a run on them. Hope they don’t raise the prices.
Yep same problem here…just tightened the screw and it clamps on tight….I also had to tighten the leg Allen screw a hair…it was a little wobbly so now it’s firm and doesn’t move to much. But all in all its a good bipod…..I told my cousin about it and when he went to the website their out of stock now…lol
