How about the general build quality compared to the Cricket? Fit and finish? Trigger? Stock?

I would say the metal is the same as the Cricket and the stock is more like the Edgun, my stock actually had a little character, seems like the walnut can be very nice to very plain. Dont expect a stock like the advertisement. the trigger had a long first stage, then felt ok but didnt really have time to mess with it. I was more concerned about how it would group.I was a little concerned that the bolt had a slight gritty metal on metal feel to it. That would probably smooth out with more shooting time. Overall its a nice pup, but I had concerns about the plastic magazine, but was told it is a polymer that is very durable and will last a long time.

The same time. My first Cricket came from TAG. Boris took good care of me.

I have dealt with Peter at TGAG so he will take care of it.

After reading some of the comments you regulars say to each other, I thought saying “eat shit and die” was being nice! I have been trying to post here for several days, but my account was deactivated or something and had to get the moderator to get me reactivated, the Vulcan is packed up and ready to be shipped so sorry , no pictures. I shot some 38 yard groups that measred 3/8″ , but had this failure so soon I couldnt really stretch it out and see what it can do. It is a little shorter than my Cricket and has what seems to be a little different sounding “crack” not loud but not as quiet as the Cricket.

Take it easy backyard sniper jeez, your description on yellow was not clear, it seemed cryptic and hard to follow. Without pictures I never put much salt into any internet review. We can never know who’s typing. So instead of telling people to eat shit and die how about posting a few photos of the problem so we can all learn. FYI this is not coming from someone who called you a phony. On TAG if you make a statement you have to be able to back your claims or you’re going to get hammered. So don’t get sad, post photos then you won’t have to tell people to eat shit, your pictures will do it for you.

Don’t take it personally. Everyone gets chewed on over here as do the dealers and manufacturers. Some of the dealers and manufacturers eventually post on this forum as far as bullpups are concerned and face the music like Ed from Edgun. We don’t hide the dealers names here either. Every new gun goes through a debugging period and that is to be expected so some problems are no surprise on the new Vulcans. Other folks on this forum also have been testing the Vulcan. Just state your case and join the fun. We are interested in your problems in detail (and pictures) as well as the dealer that gave you good service. This isn’t the Yellow forum.

FYI, I am the guy that got the problematic Vulcan, I have been reading everyones comments calling me a phony, to Not knowing what I was doing, I will say I have been shooting airguns longer than some of you have been alive. Own Edgun, Cricket, have had talons, Daystates, Prod and worked on all of them. What happened was while shooting on my bench rest at around 56 shots, a blast hit me in the cheek and eye. the Vulcan was shooting very accurate groups, after the blast, it was very difficult to remove the magazine. so I cocked and fired and nothing but a click. Finally got the mag out fired again dry firing with a towell over the breech and it had a very weak pop. Studied the diagram in the manual saw the breech o-ring, looked in the breech and mine was gone, I did see it later on the probe. Anyway placed another o-ring in the breech and now it would not fire with the mag installed, take it out and it fires very weak, wont even push the pellets out of the barrel. Couldnt figure it out until I put my finger in the loading breech and closed the bolt and the probe did not advance forward. hmmmm wwhy is that happening. Studied the diagram again, removed the inspection cover and worked the bolt and saw the probe was not moving, there are two screws thru the rod attaching it to the probe, the rod was sheered off at the first hole broke in half. This is why the probe was not closing. So to summarize I think the blast in the face was because the probe was not sealing the breech, or even pushing the pellet in the breech. So thats the story. The dealer is going to repair or replace the gun. So let the comments rip me to me pieces, you guys who call me a Phony, eat shit and die, dont care what you think, Everyone have a pleasant evening.

I watched it and it looks pretty good. I think Earnest will get a Vulcan and a Taipan. The bullpup competition is really heating up. It will make manufacturing errors much more costly to the manufacturer and demand faster turnaround times and delivery and service.

SE, have you seen SinperQTY videos yet? That Vulcan may be up with the Edgun in accuracy… I wish there were more of them here in the USA. Ernest is getting one very soon and he is going to tear into it. We will truly know after E gets the gun if it’s worth it.

That was my thought a few posts ago. I have been searching reviews all over and about the only complaint I see on the Vulcan’s so far is on the magazine as Sir Ville even mentioned. Time will tell.

I wonder if the shooter didn’t lock the bolt down, I blew an o ring once on a gun that I shot without the bolt all the way forward.

I was thinking the same …

Almost looks like a phony to me. That’s my opinion on this.
